About 7 years ago I discovered that practically everything he wrote after 1930 was extraordinary but this is 1923. All of that fiddling around with planets and Eastern Religions was not a phase, simply a detour!
This is Bach meets the Planets - Holst has so much more to offer than I knew about! Terrifically recorded as well.
