Interesting! I'm sitting here lookin at a picture of a "Vitalizer SX 2" and it has the same button layout, but totally different labeling, indicating different functionality. Do you happen to know what the difference is?

These exciters are excellent - both in and out of the studio. My basic Stereo Jack-unit ended up enhancing my turntable. It's compensating for the different conditions my records are in and makes my (already fine) set sound 'audiophile' (for whatever that means). It's a cheap trick that outperforms the use of equalizers (noise) and has the potential to exceed performance gains by upgrading to esoteric cartridges (big money). It is just something audio purists consider to be a form of blasphemy - hence the discontinuing of the SPL PSD 4000. Sad. In my opinion any form of home-mastering (as in tailoring a source to the incapabilities of your system) makes total sense. Anyway, thnx for the vid.
Fantastic song just like the SPL, in my opinion another song with less sound changes would have been better to review this machine. When I focus on one section, the song changes completely. By the way, I've tried to find the song by shazam but it doesn't appear, is there a place where I can listen to it in its entirety? Great job!!!

not very useful demo... a simple loop would be better. bypassing at least from time to time might help to hear what the unit is doing. the mix is so busy, hard to tell what the sx2 does in there and what not...

For such a test, you need to use a loop.
