They are an Italian - Australian duo Jess and Lisa Origliasso born1984 from Brisbane formed in 2004 and they are identical twins their father Joseph Origliasso managed them in 2004 their angel mama Collen has passed away in September RIP. Peace out.

I remember seeing The Veronicas before they were "The Veronicas" and they used to sing at the local Christmas Carols in the park at Ferny Hills in Brisbane, Australia. They were 13 or 14. I remember thinking at the time that they will make it.

This song was written about Jess's break-up with Ruby Rose, the sisters also had a bit of a feud around this time.
Yeah the Ruby grasping at fame Rose faze wasn't going to work and Jess is no doubt better for it.

This one is more of a ballad compared to their other stuff, but it hits hard with the lyrics
Apart from the beautiful singing and lyrics what also sent chill's through me was the Cello.. OMG that had just as much impact as the lyrics. They should have been more recognised than they were.

I have been in love with these girls since they started. I love this song. I know that they have been through a major heart ache recently which most of all of us do go through at some time of our lives. That is real life. I hope that they keep doing music because they move me with all the heart ache I have been through with my life and still going through.

I used to ride the bus every morning and every afternoon with them to school. They'd get off at the school after me, but for about 40 minutes each way every day, I'd have to listen to Lisa and Jess sing in the back of the bus with their acoustic guitars. I appreciate their talent, though their music isn't particularly my cup of tea (especially after years of having to listen to it day in and day out, haha). But, I certainly can say that they worked towards their crafts and careers from day dot. Well done to them. I'm loving your focus on Australian artists! I have requested so many channels react to artists like Matt Corby and Missy Higgins for years without a single one of them doing it. Sneaky little cameo there with Michael Paynter on the keyboards and a third harmony right at the end. You're right, The Veronicas don't use their beauty to sell records - they've been blessed in that area, but their determination to create music which is honest and showcases their vocal and songwriting ability is the priority. I believe this song was written not just about heartbreak but also about the anger they felt towards the record company that dumped them.

The twins are great... they've been through a lot both together and individually over the years...at the moment they have a struggle with their mother's health and have moved back to Australia to spend time with her. Very close family but fight like siblings are apt to do occasionally (some of the recorded arguments in their documentary are hilarious) Thank you again Nick for featuring another Aussie talent !

One of my favourite songs this one.
Her partner cheated on her and she found out while overseas... she wrote this song on the plane trip home and immediately went to the recording studio to record it fresh.
"I'm your greatest master piece" refers to her partner completely tricking her... making her believe she was the only one while all along cheating "playing her" on her.
