your old only-support tactic isn't valid for FM24. You can now have a full-11 on support, even in a back 4 with double support libero (though back-5 with support libero and support-WCB would make more sense)
SO much to unpack with this video, what an entertaining one too 😂 That last tactic surely counts as breaking the game, or maybe shows the power of momentum?! The insane thing about the 118 is that it was the tactic used by England in the first ever match in 1872, with additional player instructions of "never ever pass". And it was against Scotlands "conservative" 127. It finished 0-0 🤷♂️
the main problem with those fancy formation is that, those are displayed as a defensive formation, hope in fm25 we'll have atleast a "with the ball" and "off the ball" pes 2020 had that...
You keep cooking, Chef! This no mid, no attack out of possession looked like Getafe under Jose Bordalas. They were extremely frustrating to teams like Ajax (Getafe knocked them out of Europa League I believe) and Barcelona (that likes do dominate possession, but was suffocated with no space and too many bodies, combined with get stuck in that Bordalas surely demands from his players :D
I think I would have tried balanced mentality with pasing directness and tempo on very low and much higher pressing with counterpress. Your only hope was to retain the ball (for the 1-1-8)
I do wonder how this would work with a mediocre team without relative stars on the lineup. Like a team in just promoted to the Prem but is still a Sky C or Sky 1 team in terms of their ratings. It's funny because the 1-1-8 played like I thought since AMs have no defensive roles. But since DMs and WB/FB can still be attackers, all defense can and did work. I am intrigued why the game didn't see you having no one on your right and no just focused everything down that side. Was it because your overload on the left was too strong and kept them from filtering the ball to the their left and when you had the ball, they couldn't get the numbers to their right to deal with you there? I'm also intrigued how playing people out of position (I assume?) didn't seem to matter for the 5-5-0 formation. Makes me wonder if position knowledge even matters. Gives me something to think about.
The first ever international football match was played between England and Scotland in 1872. England played a 1-1-8 formation and Scotland played a 2-2-6 formation. The game ended 0-0 I am dissapointed you didn't go true all support with CBs at Libero
Good that you can use previous tactics on a current game. There's old tactics, I'd like to play on fm12. But fm11 tactics, slow my game down for some reason. Fm10 tactics don't even work. Enjoying watching these mental tactics. No shortage of goals in the 1-1-8...just a shame most are at the wrong end

I failed. I hang my head in shame

Momentum, interesting, I honestly have no idea haha
I acknowledge I could have put liberos on support. I failed there and forgot. Give me a break though, this was traumatic 😂
Well only 1 thing to do redeem yourself with a full season of all support 😂

pes 2020 had that...
yea exactly
wait pes 2020 had it ? where
So did fm, many many many years ago. They took it out because you could absolutely break the match engine
@@Abhi_810-s9b you had to "activate it" in teh tactic settings on the right, was called "fluid formation" or something
@@37wheels didnt know, im a new fm player.
atleast we know they could work on it and bring it back, would be fantastic

Haha I weirdly enjoyed it, interesting how you could perhaps incorporate it into certain situations
another banger. i am curious as i binged your Salgueiros series which was top notch, how do you make your avatar looking like you have there.
In Salguerios? An app. Lensa I think it was called

Sounds more sensible than what I tried

You can retrain pretty much anyone to play in a position, especially if the attributes work

I missed that for the Centre Backs. That's my bad. Hopefully the next vid I have planned will redeem me

Yes it's good, you need to adjust certain things that don't carry over in instructions but it's definitely handy
try a formation with 3 anchors please
Do a 3-5-2-0
Waiting for 7 at the back, 6 of them on attack
I always welcome ideas.....
Try a tactic where everyone shoots on sight.
Cheers for the suggestion
😮
😂😂😂 what a hot mess
