the visuals, the voice acting, use of ost, use of silence, all of it made this episode incredible. they just keep giving us banger after banger with each episode this season and just won't stop
A very good episode with an emotional soundtrack. I admittedly, really sympathize with Toga and some other "villains". Her story is touching and of course I couldn't hold back my tears during the flashbacks.
So far out of all LoV members Toga is the one I sympathize and understand the most. She was genuinely a kind, caring and loving child who was made a monster by people trying to "fix" her.

Musically, yes! But yeah, the animation this season was again really mediocre, my hero had such good a run either way it in season 1 until 3 and afterwards we had a bit of it again in season 5. Now it’s a 7/10 at best

The Red Riot run was fluid, the sweeping laser was dynamic, the Shoot Style sequence was great, AFO looking down on All Might was cold af, AM's laugh was diabolical. That's not to mention the crazy new OSTs in one single episode. You're just one of those who keep shitting on MHA because it's the popular thing to do. Season 1 didn't have that much crazy thing going on except for AM vs Nomu (it didn't even have impact frames and s7 broke the record for impact frames on Dabi's scene ALONE) and s3's animation was not that crazy either. Even the OFA vs AFO fight had a lot of still frames (still one of the goated fights)
All the main villians in the league have such tragic back stories that you understand why they're so angry and filled with hatred. Almost makes you want to route for them.
i'm SO tempted to switch to sub i cant keep being left on cliffhangers and emotional moments with more to come ahhhh 😭😭 this sounds absoluitely amazing but this show cant keep DOING THIS TO ME gfhjdkjgfd
Toga's tragedy makes me so fucking sad. She was a healthy teenage girl with so much love, passion, and desire to help those she cares about in her heart. And yet she was treated like a monster by her parents and health professionals, and internalized that that was all she could be. And now when she finally sees that there are people who would treasure her for who she is, it's too late. She is uninjured at the end of her battle, but bares her responsibility for the things she did in anger and lays down to die. She deserved so much better. She could've lived a life surrounded by people she loved, and who loved her back. I've been thinking about it for weeks. I'm beside myself.
