I actually told God last night during prayer I wanted to give up. Unfortunately some prayer requests haven't been answered yet. I know about being patient and waiting on the Lord but I've prayed for 16 years! I wanted a better career with better pay/prospects. I also wanted a wife and marriage. Please if you can pray for me. Thank you.

Me too! I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing! I'm employed, married and have a daughter. So I'm blessed!
I won't go into my past, but God knows it all. I am a male and I've been to prison, I know what it means to be in the wilderness and I just want to come in out of the storm!
I don't consider myself very important, my family is more important than me! I'm tired of this sadness that stalks me. Every time I hear about children, it just opens old wounds!
I don't want it to, but it always seems to bring up all that garbage from my past that happened to me. Then I'm all upset. Even my wife doesn't know it all. And I'm not even sure what her reaction would be to some of this stuff.
So don't be too hard on yourself. I realize everything that happened to me was my own fault! It just seems like Men are not needed any more.
And I'm okay if God chooses to not accept me. I learned I don't know much. I've looked for a Bible believing church that follows all of Jesus' commands.
I don't live in Texas, so I can't speak for that state, but Indiana doesn't seem to have real Bible believing churches. Most here are hell fire and brimstone preachers. All I hear is I'm going to hell.
Where are the churches that display God's love? I've tried several denominations to look for it. Nobody ministers to the sick and down trodden in society anymore.
And most people act like Men cannot be broken beyond repair. I see the brokenness of America's Men. It's a wonder that I haven't done what some broken Men have done.
@@cullen6015 When you accept Christ you are a completely new creation. ALL of the old has been washed away. Jesus gives us that. Now you have to work on accepting it and forgiving yourself and others. He can heal you and make you whole again. Part of that healing can be inner peace and joy. I dont say that like I have it all together. I am a fellow traveller on the road to healing and wholeness too. Pray that God points out the church he wants you to attend. Try a few..give them a few Sundays each. Ask God to confirm yes or no. Look for a spirit filled/ charismatic church where the Holy Spirit has the freedom to move. Prayers for you
Alright so here it is... You are not praying correctly.... Jesus says whatever you pray for believe you have received it. So gratitude for what is already yours. All day everyday for the next week you say all day I am so grateful for my dream job and my wife. Not when u feel like it alllllll day. And you don't look around for confirmation bc that means you are not trusting god. And you live from gratitude. Greater is he who is in me then he who is in the world. You are the temple of God his spirit dwells in you. Be still and know I am the lord thy god, and lean not into your own understanding. The very commandment is love the lord thy god with all thine heart... So if you don't love yourself so you are saying he didn't make u perfect and you are not loving him or yourself.... #2 love thy neighbor as you love thyself.... So if you are running negative stories through your head about others or generalities about women he ain't gonna bless you. Clean ur mind up you are in control. The devil is fear doubt worry. God is love and gratitude. Now you have heard. Go and sin no more. Follow gods law. Jesus said everything hangs from these two commandments. It's time to pull out the Bible and read it. Knock and it shall be opened seek and ye shall find. Positive affirmations all day will change ur life. Don't be a victim

I am a 79 year old Vietnam Veteran. I lost hope years go. I lost 5 of my friends to a rocket attack at DaNang RVN in 1969. They were young, innocent, decent, happy guys who died with less than 30 days left on their tour. Yet here I am. Not a scratch on me the entire year I was there. I wish it would have included me, but it didn't. I came home to being called a "baby killer", yet I didn't kill a single soul, thank God. My country lied to us draftees about this war. That it was just and it was to keep that part of the world communist free. Not so. We lost because we didn't want to win. Our commanders just followed their orders from the higher ups in the Pentagon, and our being there was built on a lie started by LBJ. So yeah, I'm not thrilled about having participated in a war that we should never have been in, and the wars subsequent to that war was the same thing. Sent over to do something that our commanders didn't want to win in the first place. So, there we are. Stuck with a new military that is so messed up that the DEI program now has total misfits in the military that can't protect us right here at home. Well, someday soon father time will catch up with me, and that will be the best day of my life. Peace. Out here.
I’m grateful you served our country well, even though (and I agree) that war was messed up! Thank you, Joe! You did not deserve to be spat upon nor called a baby-killer. God knows. He knows the number of hairs on your head and when one of them falls out. He knows your thoughts before you communicate. Same with those other poor Patriots who gave their all for what they believed to be the good cause for their nation, for which I am ever grateful. But, your life was written down before one of them came to be. You see, God preserved your life for a purpose. Do you know what that purpose is? If not, get down on your knees if you are able and in humility before God Almighty repent and ask for His mercy and forgiveness. Confess your sins to God through Jesus His Son, and ask Him to cleans you with the sacrificial, pure, sinless blood of the Lamb of God, Jesus-He loves you more than you know, and He’s calling you to come close to His heart right now. Believe in your heart ♥️ and confess with your mouth publicly that Jesus is Lord, and you shall be saved! If you have already done so, it won’t hurt to do so again. And, ask God what it is He has you here for. Read God’s written Word (the Holy Bible) daily, praying and asking for wisdom and understanding. God is more than willing to do so. And, don’t think it’s too late for you. It’s never too late as long as God has given you breath (but the earlier the better)! And, God will use your life to be a blessing to someone. But, prepare yourself to be a vessel for noble purposes, and ask Him to use you as a blessing, because God loves to answer that prayer, and you need to be ready. God loves you, Joe.

Leave a legacy of goodness for God before He takes you to be with Him forever.
Vet myself. This world is filled with evil and seems to be getting worse and worse. I know many good people who pray and bad luck seems to strike them, then you have some evil sob's that seem to have it all... I have come to the conclusion life just isn't fair so find peace, enjoy the ride, and just try your best. All you can do. Stay strong 💪.

This made me cry, it spoke to my heart!! I was telling the Lord yesterday I felt like giving up. I am so weary from the trials I’ve been through for the last year… three months ago my boyfriend & I broke up. We’ve been thru so much & the distance made it even harder. He gave up on us in February , he let his family and the enemy interfere, he was told if this was meant to be it would be easy, at first it was us because we let sin in our lives but we repented and turned away from that. I am praying for the Lord to restore us both and reconcile us. People make me doubt if I heard the Lord right, It makes me second guess if it was just my thoughts or my feelings…
Breakups are always tough hang in there. Find someone who appreciates you unconditionally no matter what. That's true love. Wish you the best but maybe God has something better for you in the future.

God’s will is never easy. It isn’t meant to be. I’ve come to that realization. Otherwise we wouldn’t need Him.
I really needed this. Going through a really tough time as it's been happening for years. Lost my path and moving more and more closer to Jesus. He is the only way.
We have all strayed at times. I still tend to stray or get off track in my thoughts some every day, but Jesus Is Faithful and The Holy Spirit helps us to get back on track- sometimes moment by moment. Lord help us ALL to stay the course and keep the Faith!! I know it will be worth it in the end when we finally go home to our reward- JESUS HIMSELF FOREVER!!!

Reminds me of the story of the man walking on the beach and in good times he sees two sets of footsteps, his and Gods and he says to God how come when times are tough there are only one set of footsteps, why did you forsake me to face the hard times alone. God turned around and said to the man those footsteps you saw weren't yours they were mine as I was there carrying you in the hard times.
Don't put yourself down. You are so worthy, and more than enough! God has the right one for you out there!
The promise has to die before It can come to life. Once we let go of it, like a seed we bury it, and then it sprouts. Just like Abraham did with Isaac. The Lord knows that we have to, in our hearts, want Him more than anything promised, otherwise we will not handle it correctly.
