Since we're getting technical, it was actually blood AND water - John 19:34 "Yet one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out."
The blood and water is crucial because that is exactly what would be observed from someone asphixiating in that exact position and state of exhaustion. A fluid builds up in the lungs separate from blood, it also confirms Jesus was stabbed through the pleura. Providentially, the water gushing from Christ is the fulfillment of the water being drawn from the Rock by Moses in Exodus, the waters of the Jordan for baptism, etc.
@sidewaysfcs0718 I'd also say the water and blood would be a representation of the cleansing and life-giving work of Jesus Christ, symbolizing the forgiveness of sins through His sacrifice and the renewal of the Spirit that brings eternal life. As usual a great video, keep putting out the good content. May we all grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ this year.
Why would you say that? The case for a resurrection is awful -- it's _only_ the Bible's accounts, and that's evidence so weak you wouldn't accept elsewhere (would you believe I resurrected if 4-6 anonymous authors said it happened? Seriously?). So doesn't it feel like this channel's purpose is misleading people? Sure feels that way.
The fact that Christians have to become this much of an expert in cases for some to believe but those same ppl who need critical evidence don’t need it to believe in their gods speaks tremendous volume
Amazing interview. I loved it! There was one thing I was wondering about. Wes said 400 witnesses, but in 1 Cor 15:6 it says 500 witnesses. Was he possibly referring to an older manuscript or was that a mistake?
I just want to throw out there, with much respect to Wes Huff, that Paul actually says Jesus was seen by FIVE hundred brethren. He left out a whole nother hundred. 😁 Jesus is alive guys.
For has smart as Wes is, as a Catholic, I was pretty shocked at some of the misinformation he gave in regards to Tyndale. Otherwise, I can rejoice that Rogan is having people such as him on his podcast. I was getting pretty sick of listening to him talk about Christianity being inspired by shrooms.
The reason the Lord hasnt come back already is because He's still fighting for people like Joe Rogan. He's giving us time to come to Him before it's too late. I truly believe that.
What a nonsense belief. If a God was interested in belief/worship, he'd show up, provide reasonable evidence, and reasonable people would immediately believe. If a God wanted to save someone, _they would immediately, instantly be saved._ So clearly you cannot possibly believe God wants this, because God is defined as being all-powerful, which would mean the moment God wanted it, it would be done. Instead, God is a self-contradicting idea. It cannot be true. God cannot exist. It's a contradiction between all-good and causing all evil intentionally. He caused all evil intentionally because he knew every result from every way the universe might be, and then chose to create a universe that would lead to evil (evil as Christianity defines it, to be clear). That means God intended that evil. And that's a contradiction. If God did any evil act, he cannot be "all-good", yet God would be responsible for *every* evil act (and all good ones; everything, obviously; that's what the story says: an all-knowing God made everything!). If that doesn't make sense, consider a Perfect Baseball Pitcher. He knows everything has a perfect throwing arm, perfectly strong, etc. _Wherever the ball ends up is that Pitcher's intent, right?_ Because he can literally account for everything (wind, objects thrown to block his baseball, etc). Well an all-knowing God would be just like that: anywhere the universe ends up is God's intent, and so we know God can't exist.
Maybe this opportunity for people to hear the resurrection facts has less to do with Joe Rogan and more to do with the mass amount of people who are influenced by his thought processes. If Jesus’ ministry converted 7% of people He interacted with, what do you think the percentage would be from this influential conversation?
A historian of the native Mexico said that during the time of Jesus's, a god who he believes, was Jesus shows up to the people of native area anyone else talked about this
Wonder if anybody knows if people was living before the bible was created. And is so did they all go to hell because they didn't know anything about jesus
Another thing to think about, when talking about the validity of the Gospels, is that there are many specific accounts of miracles that would have been easily debunked at that time if they weren't true. Example: Lazarus, Jairus' daughter, Blind Bartameus, lame man at the gate Beautiful (people knew who they were talking about). These are just from the top of my head but there's prob more.
The gospel of John is a rebuttal against Gnosticism. That's why there's a lot of emphasis on Jesus's bodily resurrection. The whole point of including Thomas's doubt and Jesus's response to him, Jesus eating after his resurrection, all of these was to prove beyond doubt that Jesus rose bodily.
Part of what ‘helps’ (obviously the Holy Spirit is #1 if Joe converts to Christianity) is how many people around him are strong Christians, despite their shortcomings, for example Jon Jones, proclaimed Christianity at the UFC fight, then there is Jordan Peterson, and then Joe likely sees conservatives, who are now in power lean Christian
James 4:11-12 Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy.

Yo!! Mel Gibson is on Rogan going deep on Christianity today as well!! Kingdom is moooovinnn
Praise the Living God Jesus Christ !
God bless Joe Rogan in his walk of seeking the Lord!!
You will seek me and you will find me when you seek me with all of your heart !
Jeremiah 29:13
Rogan was slow to endorse Trump but finally came around at the last minute. He will embrace Jesus, he has become more and more open to the idea. Huff is an absolutely brilliant guest, most impressive scholar on Bible and ancient languages in the context of history that i have heard. Encyclopedic memory.
JESUS IS LORD & CHRIST IS KING
I’d love to go to the bless God summit but I’m in Texas. Bring one here!! Come close to the DFW
Cmon JOE JUST DO IT!!!!
✝️ 🟰 ❤️
I think we just witnessed the seed planted this episode. This is so awesome
I like that Joe makes all the valid questions that many have. All valid.
The fact that Christians have to become this much of an expert in cases for some to believe but those same ppl who need critical evidence don’t need it to believe in their gods speaks tremendous volume
Awesome reaction Ruslan! Great video.
I hope you make a respond video on “Alex O’Conner respond video on Wes Huff”🙏
Yo! Can you interview Timothy Alberino ?
For has smart as Wes is, as a Catholic, I was pretty shocked at some of the misinformation he gave in regards to Tyndale. Otherwise, I can rejoice that Rogan is having people such as him on his podcast. I was getting pretty sick of listening to him talk about Christianity being inspired by shrooms.
How does one apply to get help to be able to get to this conference in CALIFORNIA
is there a reason why he speeds up the clips?
We will see the day Joe Rogan will say he is a Christian and SAVED! lets goooo!!! There is nothing impossible for God!
@8:15 the guy that was getting ready to be harvested wasn’t flogged and hung from a cross.
This was good, Thanks
You guys did Joe such an injustice pausing the video after 3: 40 second mark 😂😂
Joe's ripening up! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Hallelujah! Im smiling 34 swconda through at your reaction my brother :D
“Cue Candace Owens” was savage
Maybe this opportunity for people to hear the resurrection facts has less to do with Joe Rogan and more to do with the mass amount of people who are influenced by his thought processes.
If Jesus’ ministry converted 7% of people He interacted with, what do you think the percentage would be from this influential conversation?
Good take 💯
What evidence?
A historian of the native Mexico said that during the time of Jesus's, a god who he believes, was Jesus shows up to the people of native area anyone else talked about this
Look, the resurrection of Jesus is a matter of faith and nothing more
Wes is the best possible representation of objective Christianity
Wonder if anybody knows if people was living before the bible was created. And is so did they all go to hell because they didn't know anything about jesus
Another thing to think about, when talking about the validity of the Gospels, is that there are many specific accounts of miracles that would have been easily debunked at that time if they weren't true. Example: Lazarus, Jairus' daughter, Blind Bartameus, lame man at the gate Beautiful (people knew who they were talking about). These are just from the top of my head but there's prob more.
Good analysis
I feel good about the future
The gospel of John is a rebuttal against Gnosticism. That's why there's a lot of emphasis on Jesus's bodily resurrection. The whole point of including Thomas's doubt and Jesus's response to him, Jesus eating after his resurrection, all of these was to prove beyond doubt that Jesus rose bodily.
Definitely see JRE may not being such a non believer anymore. Hes trying though. Love it.
James 4:11-12
Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy.
Did you guys accelerate the video of Wes, because it's seriously annoying to the point that I can't watch it.
7:34 I feel like this is a weaker argument.
Muhammad died
Joseph Smith died
Yet…here we are. Does that prove them true?
