Happy birthday Josh. I haven't had anyone close to me dealing with addictions but at one time in my life I couldn't go one day without alcohol. I seen what it was doing to my family so I decided that I needed to change. As of yesterday I've been sober 6 years.
That's truly amazing, I'm a complete stranger but I'm still proud of you. I struggled with booze for abt 7 yrs & in 2010 found out my little girl had inoperable cancer so I made the decision that I was going to quit & never drink again. My last drink was August 2010 & even though I lost her 3 months later I kept my word & have never drank again. I know the struggle is very real but every year you put between your sober self & drinking self feels more rewarding. I wish you the absolute best & know you're going to continue on your journey strong & motivated.
Congrats brotha. I’m in the same boat, I lost my mom last year on Oct 13th and I lost it and went into a deep dark depression and used alcohol as a vice. As of today I am 148 days clean and sober. #WeDoRecover

As a former addict myself you can try all you want but until that person seeks it on their own nothing will ever change. Exactly 4 years sober today and ill tell you its been the best 4 years of my life! Youll never have the answers for the addict but just be on their side through it and let them know your there for them when the time is right

Josh the only thing we can do is pray. I have an addiction issue and I'm currently in treatment. When he finally addmits, and accepts his issue change will not come. He has to get tired, and want to change, when this happens,, recovery starts. Putting the drug or alcohol down is only the beginning. Then change begins.
confronting someone with addiction usually is doomed for failure. Addiction is a disease and I fought it for 30 plus years. Been clean now for 9 years. The point is, support them as much as you can, but you have to use tough love and try to get them to go to meetings.
Lots of people commission experts to trade and earn profit for them, this experts makes profit with the amount invested and they are giving some percentage.
This is quite interesting a friend of mine introduced me to Ms Thompson's trading services about 4months ago and i invested $1000 i made up to $4365 in the first week of trade. It was a good experience for me i really wish I met her earlier.
I had the experience with her I invested 600dollars and made one thosand,eight hundred dollars.But then i made more in subsequent weeks, she is really good.
First .. happy Birthday. Second you can't help someone who doesn't want it him/herself. third those that do have addictions most likely will pull you down emotionally and psychologically. Your best bet, and this is just advice, is to cut the strings. You could be an enabler without knowing it. If one day the person decides he wants your help he/she will make the effort. Then you can be teh supportive friend you wish to be

Ive watched before but didnt subscribe. Happy belated, and thank you for talking about addiction. I have gone through one myself for many years but hit bottom last December. Were it not for my fiance and a couple of very good (and pyhsically stronger than me) friends, i never would have gone to hospital. They all fought and stayed with me for 2 more visits and 2 more stays in hospital, and as of Septelber I finally chose life and decided to stop and not let them or myself down again. They showed me im worth something. Thx again for mentioning your personal stuff, and I feel for you. Not easy hurting people who care about you. Try not to give up on your person

As a recovering addict, when you say you have to want to be fixed, you're right. While it's certainly frustrating for those who love and care about the addict, it means a lot that you're there. Just be careful that you don't help feed their addiction. If they need food, feed them, but don't give $. Hold them accountable. If they get mad today, sometime in the future if you're blessed enough to see them free of the addiction, they'll see what a treasure you are as a friend. Hang in there. Happy birthday. I can sympathize with you about loved ones who are addicted to drugs, alcohol or cigarettes. Confronting them even gently and lovingly is just a loosing battle. They will become angry and defensive and start pointing out all of your flaws to get you to shut up. They have got to get into addiction counselling and they have got to want to go and they usually have to hit rock bottom before they finally see reason.

Happy Birthday Josh, thoroughly enjoyed the game today, count your blessings for your wonderful family but don't stress about the things you can't change, my brother was an alcoholic for 30 years and we all tried to help him, my mother's dying wish was for him to stop drinking, he had his last drink at her funeral, which was 6 years ago, the only person who can help them is the person with the addiction.

I things I've noticed over the last few videos, the skill stop keeps stopping just as it is about to push the coins forwards, stopping some of the momentum and giving a weaker push. Not sure how much of a delay there is on it, but might be worth seeing there is a way of timing it so that it doesn't take away that momentum. Just an observation, great video as always though!
Happy Birthday Josh! It has to be their wish. Their decision. My dad was not sober my enter childhood. It effects me to this day. There were other issues as well but you are speaking of addition. My dad remarried and I was blessed with two more amazing sisters. They were able to have a sober father. He was 36 years sober in August. He still goes to meetings a couple times a week (on line now but in person prior to C19). I am so so proud of him. I pray this happens to your friend / family member. But, it is not your responsibility to push him to be sober / clean. God bless him. God bless you and your family as well.

Go to Al-Anon for yourself. I am a long timer and what I know is until they surrender to a power greater than themselves. Nothing can be done.

And his strategy is just play one side to start getting quarters/ coins I've been liking the videos for the past few weeks nice and long videos like it used to be
Yes I have my sister and brother, plus myself, I decided enough was enough and quit, it is a very hard battle to deal with an addiction, and yes your friend is going to want to get clean you cannot push him to clean as the problem would only get worse, just let him know when he wants to get clean that you are their for him
