土耳其Ephesus (Efes in Turkish) is an ancient city located near Selçuk in the İzmir Province of Turkey.

It is one of the most well-preserved and famous archaeological sites in the world and a major tourist attraction. Ephesus was an ancient Greek city, and later a major Roman city, on the coast of Ionia. It was famed for its Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
