It certainly can make a difference if your current CPU is bottlenecking your GPU. More cores, more speed per core, and a sufficient amount of system RAM will let you run better settings while playing and recording.
I didn't play much yesterday, spent the entire day getting my new system into place and configured for recording and editing. I am concerned about 2 anti-cheat systems both running at the same time, but clearly the current system needs to change.

That is strange as I can struggle to lock onto jets ..locking onto a prop is normally very difficult
