Here today, gone later today. Van Gough never sold a painting in his lifetime. The woman who invented the spoon and bowl will never be remembered, but humanity is better off from their contributions.
Thank you for all the music that is still with us and will be for a long time.

What is success? She recently played to an adoring crowd in San Francisco. She was taken back by the enthusiasm, from her fans.

Really great interview/ companion to the book, which I loved.

Thanks for watching! And thanks for saying so. I loved the book as well. I felt bad that I switched from reading it to the audiobook version because I feel like I was selling-short how satisfying it was to read off the page. I was very impressed with her writing. But at the same time, the narration was also such a nice added dimension. I guess I can always go back and read it from cover to cover if I'm inclined.

@@feedbackdef Thats interesting. Yes, I was impressed w her writing and honesty. Being a musician/ songwriter myself, I always felt short changed at not finding success. Reading the book reminds me of the reality of my experiences in bands.... squabbles, hussling to find ways to success etc etc. Watching yr interview is a great way to further the stories in Miki's words. Thanks for asking intelligent questions/responses. Check out my dreampop songs (if you feel inclined) Space Engineer, Memory Trip (YT album/ awful mastering, mind you..) or Spotify etc. RIP Chris, you were a good man.
