Using Sikaflex to seal roof seems on a sprinter

- All the older sprinters we viewed had rust on the roof seems, we thought prevention is better than cure so we sika flexed all the seems

Nice one, just purchased a 2013 ex DHL sprinter and saw some internal rust on the roof. Having watched your vid and as part of the conversion, i'll be doing the outside too. Appreciate your heads up on this, thanks Paul

You can never go over the top when it comes to preventing corrosion and water leaks.

All ok on the top of the roof 👍🏻 sikaflex all good, can't see inside as it's covered 💙✌️

When we looking for a van we noticed everyone had rust on the seems, hopefully doing this it will last a few years longer 🤞thank you for watching appreciate it all the best 💙✌️

Good job on those roof seals. Have you checked on them after twelve months? are they still sound?
Sorry for the late reply only just seen this, since I done them 2 year's ago now, all is ok on the roof, as for inside ceiling seams I wouldn't know as it's covered with ply and leather, hopefully it will hold of the rust for a few years, thanks Barry 🙏🏻💙✌️
