for almost 10 years, i grew up in sydney. we used to always go on the trains and i would always love the sound of train announcements. i don’t live in sydney anymore, and i wanted to hear this again, and it made me cry 😂😭

Sutherland to Cronulla is actually just weird, the route starts at Bondi junction over 50 minutes away, but the only cursed parts are the inner suburbs Sutherland, anyway the route from Sutherland is, Sutherland, kirrawee, Gymea, Miranda, Caringbah, Woolaware, Cronulla The announcement is:the next train to arrive at(it varies between 2 and 3 but it’s usually 3)platform 3 goes to, Cronulla, first stop Kirrawee then Gymea, Miranda, Caringbah, Woolaware, and all stations to, Cronulla
The next train to arrive on platform 2 goes to Goulburn. First stop; Burradoo then Moss Vale, Exeter, Bundanoon, Penrose, Wingello, Tallong, Marulan and Goulburn
The next train to arrive on Platform 1 goes to: Central. First stop: Lapstone, then, Emu Plains, Penrith Blacktown, Parramatta, Strathfield, and Central
Platform 24 for the 04:39 service to Bondi Junction. Calling at Town Hall, Martin Place, Kings Cross, Edgecliff and Bondi Junction. This train is formed of 8 coaches.
Do you know this is really strange that vLine and the Adalede Metro and even our upgraded Siemens Nexus trains in Melbourne has been updated with this announcement tone but vLine use the Male voice at it’s Train stations and the upgraded Siemens Nexus trains use the female voice and the Adelaide Metro uses the female voice
