What fun! These stencils and your great colors along with the vellum accents are wonderful holiday cards. PPP has knocked it out of the tree lot with these. I’ve been stenciling my holiday card with patterns from another company and I really like doing them. Thank you for sharing all your ideas and techniques again today. 💌
These cards are all so wonderful. Love this partial vellum card idea. Such a great way to tone down beautiful, but sometimes busy, backgrounds. Thanks again for the excellent and inspirational video! Excited to try this!
You have such amazing ideas! These cards are just lovely and the vellum technique adds a interesting element to the design. Great video as always. Thank you.
I have no words to express how theses beautiful cards and tutorial brought me excitement, encouragement and joy to see and watch…. Thank you is not enough, and the least I can say Jennifer!
Love the look of these cards Jennifer! So beautiful and not too difficult or time consuming. They have the look of something you spent much more time on. You always bring something new to us and for that I’m grateful. Have a wonderful week and thanks again for the time you put into these videos!
You’re such a good teacher, you explain things thoroughly and that is so helpful for those that haven’t had had as much experience, helping people succeed and be proud of their effort! It’s a lovely thing! ❤
What a great idea!! I just had to try it out and made 3 cards 😋 I used a busy pattern paper instead of the stencils. Jennifer you are the best! So creative!!! Thank you 🙏🏻
Great cards! My fave is the blue snowflakes even though Christmas is a summer event for me. I have a heap of snowflake dies which I layered on rocker cards last year
Love these Vellum Ideas Jennifer.. So beautiful. Love the Christmas ones. I could tell a difference with the white ink going down first and then you putting down the colored the inks on top. I will definitely try this for sure. I have a stack of vellum that needs to be used.
Love the vellum designs. I also love the layering stencils. A few years back you showed how to use the white ink on colored cardstock and I have been doing that ever since. That white foundation really keeps the colors true. Thanks Jennifer, you always inspire me to try something new.
Ohhhhh Jennifer - where is the LOVE button?!? 👏🏻❣️❣️👏🏻 These are fabulous and such a perfect option for busy patterned paper too! Thank you, clever girl! 😍❤️ I have vellum and never think to use it! In addition to cataloguing my stamps and dies, I clearly need to catalogue my "paper" stash to include the vellum stash here. 🙃😂
Love these ideas! Vellum is something I always want to use more of in my cardmaking, but I tend to forget about it as a supply. Thanks for the inspiration!
These cards are soooo beautiful! Thankyou for all the examples and ideas. I have a bad habit of making lots of backgrounds and not using them as I don't want to cover them up, this is a great way to use them all finally!!
Love these cards, Jennifer. I was wondering …is there are way to get the same effect without using so much of the vellum since it’s covered up on the back? Also I have so much patterned paper that I could use this technique for time saving. I like creating backgrounds but to make lots of cards this way might be another option. What do you think?
Hi Jennifer Happy Holidays ! I hope your doing well :-) I was curious if you’d mind linking a new source for quality heavyweight vellum… the one used in the video is no longer available Thanks so much in advance if you are able to do this for me :-) I appreciate your work and all you do for us !
Jennifer, I just ran across your channel and everything is lovely, you've inspired me to start making my own cards. What embossing machine would you recommend I get, just for personal use?
Of course you can do that to soften the look of the whole card front. But if you look at the video the vellum has the pattern showing from inside the card.
Hi Jennifer I just wanted to let you know to tell your friend Kathy rack you guys are on a group group video together I would some Gina Kay and and you guys pulled out this this little sack that you said your daughter uses as a pencil holder that she invented or created and I just wanted to pull your coat and let you know to tell her to check out totally Tiffany looks like she came out with the same design so I just wanted to let her know that she might want to check that out because if it's her design I don't like to see that happen thanks
I LOVE these unique cards….TY Jennifer!!! 😀

Hi Jennifer, i would love to see more nativity Christmas cards, people do not do very much of those types of Christmas cards😊😊
Fabulous ideas
Beautiful cards. I love all these layering stencils. It gives such a cool look. Especially on the kraft cardstock, with using white ink as a base.
I love to use the edges I cut from my backgrounds inside my cards. They make a nice finished edge but allow plenty of space to still write a message.
Love these ideas! Vellum is something I always want to use more of in my cardmaking, but I tend to forget about it as a supply. Thanks for the inspiration!
Love these cards. Thanks for the many designs you share! You have the best job in the world! And you set the standard for card making! ❤

Hi Jennifer Happy Holidays !
I hope your doing well :-)
I was curious if you’d mind linking a new source for quality heavyweight vellum… the one used in the video is no longer available
Thanks so much in advance if you are able to do this for me :-)
I appreciate your work and all you do for us !
Me gusto mucho👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
SO Neat!!!
Jennifer, I just ran across your channel and everything is lovely, you've inspired me to start making my own cards. What embossing machine would you recommend I get, just for personal use?
Hi Jennifer! Does this card finish at 4 1/4 by 5 1/2? You said in the beginning to cut the inked piece at 4 1/4 by 5 1/4…thanks!
If we used oxides, would we need to do the white first?
No, you don't have to since Oxides have pigment ink properties. Using white before will just make the color a little "truer".
👍✌️🙏❤️✨
There weren’t any in video links like there usually are 😮
that's because i forgot to add them! lol. sorry. they are added now :)
These look great. But why not just use the whole sheet of printed paper on the front and layer the vellum over it?
Of course you can do that to soften the look of the whole card front. But if you look at the video the vellum has the pattern showing from inside the card.
@@jennifermcguireink Huh...sorry, I missed that.
Thank you Lillian. Kathy doesn't have the rights to the sack style. Anyone can use it. The proprietary part is the fabric design.
I am starting a business to bring some crafting to seniors. Some of your ideas will work well! I am looking for any ideas and donations.
