You are a master! I however didn't want to do all that work. I also didn't want the soundbar to drain the 48v golfcarts batteries. So in my txt I put a 12volt battery in the empty space and wired the sound bar directly to it. I just have to keep the separate 12 charged on its own. No big deal. Only issue I have is the sound but starts cutting out if I apply more that 80% volume. I'm hoping this is because I used an older batter I had lying around.
Are there any shock dampers where that bar is bolted to the upright roof struts ? Over time with the slight movements of those uprights over bumps will those weld ends not break off ? A friend installed one like this and that happened after 2 months use. I want to install same sound bar and I’m on here looking to see how you did it to avoid the situation above.
Where can you NOT mount that converter? I need options because mine won’t fit where the battery’s are or under the seat. I know it gets hot. 2010 Precendent with 6 of the 8v batterys
I have the sam setup that was installed by a dealer. I notice that when I push the gas pedal the boss soundbar picks up interference with a light high pitch. I don't think there is a DC convertor but mainly all wiring harness with different pig tails. Any suggestions
I have a Boss blue tooth amp with speakers and I have it hooked up similarly to this set up with the exception of my buss bar being a positive side and negative side so my Boss is wired directly to the buss bar. The reducer is also wired to the solenoid so that it will come on when the golf cart is powered on. I get a high pitched noise coming from mine. Can you give me any advice as to what may cause this.
Such great instructions, however, I'm having issues. I've installed the same converter in my 2016 TXT, following your instructions in this and the other similar video you did. I've connected the Velex round marine radio to it and it does not power on at all (even with the key in the on position). I have a 35a fuse in the fuse block, is that causing an issue? I'm also getting a lot of sparks from the battery terminals when putting the wires on and off as I check the problems. Thanks so much!!
So on the blue converter you have 5 wires. yellow 48v input, black ground in & out, red 12v output, green keyswitch inpu, blue is 12v out constant. IF you dont have any power output from the red wire be sure that the green wire that is for the switch is hooked up to either the switch or main battery for the converter to turn on. It has to have 48v as well. If you hook it up to the main 48 then it will not power on and off with the cart and will stay on constantly.
@@Fentertainment Thanks. Not planning to use any other accessories, I connected the red converter wire to the yellow wire of the radio (which has an inline fuse) also the ground wires for the same reason. Still no power to it at all. it's got to be the green wire from the converter that isn't properly connected with the tap back connection.
@@Fentertainment I have that one on the blue wire of the converter. It's got to be the green switch wire, right? Assuming the radio obviously wasn't dead from the package
Hi good morning... I have a whole set if new batteries in my golf cart.. I have 2 converters for accesories... I have a problem... my batteries are dying fast.. by your experience what do you think it could be.. thank you for your help
@@Fentertainment as long as you think it’s okay and no going to cause any issues? Mine lines up perfect with the thick spot on the roof and will be very ridged so it won’t flex etc.
Whats up Jesse, the 12v converter that I used in this video has an input voltage of 30 - 55 volts. We would need to find a converter rated for up to 72v or higher for it to work.
Absolutely phenomenal instructions. Thanks for the tutorial. Covered exactly what I needed to do.

Where did you buy that extra bar to make your mounting bar for the speaker? I want that same costed square tubing you got please
Can I cut off the inline fuse that powers the converter and run it into the dedicated slot in a fuse block I have or does it need direct power ?

I have this product ready to install and I’m in your area often what do you charge to install this? Thanks

Do you have an inverter going from 48 to 12v? Is your sound bar hooked up to 48v?
@@Fentertainment i do have an inverter going from 48-12. The Bluetooth amp is hooked up to the 12 volt buss bar.
What size bolts fit in the bracket slit?

Does anyone make a crossbar to mount to the existing bars to install a sound bar?

Is it okay to bolt mine to the roof instead if I silicone around the hole???

What model is this that has led lights that light up the bar?
I have a link in the description for it. Yes it has led lights in the bluetooth sound bar.
@@Fentertainment Awesome thanks! Do you think on a yamaha gas cart the stock battery could power it ok or would I need a separate battery?

Is the Boss comparable to the Bazooka?
From what I remember of the boss it wasn't bad. It didn't have the same sound quality.
Did not explain how to hook up the speaker.
Where did you hook up the wire coming out of the radio. Very vague.
