A lovely update, your tiles are a super choice. I have the 'wooden' ones in my bathrooms and love them. Really enjoy watching your progress. xx
Glad you like them! Choosing flooring is quite challenging 😊
I’m knackered just watching this! You have been living in a derelict home and are brave souls!
It's not exactly derelict but it's certainly work in progress 😊
Louise love love love your cottage it really beautiful you are such an open person and hardworking family. As a interior designer and diy person I want to give you an advice that was given to me while I was renovating my cottage. Do one room at a time you will work hard but smart. You will accomplish so much. For less you will find things in one room that you can use in the other .you will find work moving fast and you will be satisfied with the way things turn out. You will then get rid of clutter and have less is more rule brought. Love your tiles very much and also your videos looking forward to the next one. Love
Thanks Shirley. I agree with your advice. Up until now it hasn't been possible because we needed essential renovation work doing all over. Now that it has been done we can concentrate on one room at a time. What do you think of our interior design choices to date? I'm a complete novice at interior design but am enjoying the process ☺️
Such a beautiful space...all of it, even in its not-quite-there-yet state, is just so full of life and character. I found your channel via the interview you did with Louise Fletcher and I just wanted to say that I LOVE your wonky gate...and I'm voting for not straightening it 😁
The tiles are really lovely. I am looking for wood effect tiles for my old cottage floor and something like yours would be perfect.
They're not at all what I thought we'd go for but think they will look amazing
I am so excited for you. Things are most certainly hotting up for you. You and Mark are creating a beautiful home. Wishing you a great week ahead x
😊😊love the floor tiles, timeless. The photo of Mark sitting on the wooden bench is great(one for the book)
Love love ❤️ those gingham curtains !!!!! I’ll have them if you don’t want them …🥰
Sorry, they're staying at Starre Corner but may move from the living room 😊
Loved the tour and your vlog today. Really liked seeing each room as a whole with a 'pan view' (🤔 - not sure that's the term!) Your kitchen is very inviting and gorgeous!
Thanks Kare. Hopefully my home tours are improving every time I create one 😊
Loving your videos, Louisa - from your house renovation to hunting for antiques. My ancestors lived and were married in Fakenham and surrounding areas so enjoy your travels through the countryside. Jan from Blairgowrie, Australia
Oh wow, that is so interesting. What took them to Australia?
@@elegantlyknackeredstyle Henry, son of my 4th Great Grandparents who married at St Peter and St Paul Fakenham, travelled to Ireland with his young family then their daughter, Augusta sailed for Australia way back in 1839. Another relation, Daniel Jones who was an Attorney in 1775 purchased an Office in Fakenham - still remains, now Hayes & Storr Solicitors. Believe they have his portrait on display. I had a lovely time visiting Norfolk in 2017. All the best for Starre Corner, Jan
@@janicestruthers9540 oh wow, this is so interesting. I believe Hayes & Storr has just moved to a bigger premises.
@@elegantlyknackeredstyle Thanks for letting me know, Louisa. The end of an era. Jan

Love your beautiful tiles for your shower room, and those wood effect tiles are so lovely, it all goes so well together. Boy, you have a lot of work to do, but I take my hat off to you doing it yourselves, it is such a sweet cottage. xxx
Thanks Jilly. It's a slow renovation but we are getting there 😊
Both the tile for your bath and the wood-look tile are beautiful. Looking forward to seeing the progress in the en- suite.
We're pleased you like them 😊 It's taken us a long time to make a decision but now that we have we are thrilled 😊
