I am glad that I asked him the question in a public meeting in Maulana Azad University, Hyd About the molestation cases caused by Border Security Force in Northeast Insurgency. I was amazed by his answer which was so Balancing and I noticed what really is the definition of Diplomacy. He told the Security forces are very disciplined and some north east groups are creating rumors by giving some basic requirements to the women, But what we must understand is even soldiers are mere HUMANS. It some times happen, but the punishment for such cases is doubled on a soldier if convicted when compared to the Civilian committing the same crime.

Sridhar Murthy in some ways managing AMU is much more difficult than managing JNU and at the time he was brought there were all sorts of illegal and even anti national activities in AMU- but he not just crushed the bad - but also encouraged the good - and by the time he left - AMU was the #1 University in India! Some people even doubted the university rankings - but this was all thanks to the efforts of general shah!
