Playback speed is set to high. Put at .75 and it is much better. I’m determined to get this cross made, it is beautiful. Thank you for posting this wonderful tutorial.
This is one of the most gorgeous pieces of beading I've seen yet on a tutorial! I don't think I'm ready yet to make it, but it is on my list, ty for sharing your gift
Hi jauna i am happy to see you after a long break in you tube for a beautiful cross locket i will make it and present to my daughter in law ( susan heffelfinger) i am sure she will like it. Thanks a lot.
Wow, just looking at the finished cross, I would think “that’s too difficult for me”, but watching you stitch the tutorial, I think that perhaps I can do it. Thanks so much for sharing.
Gianna I love that your patterns use beads we all ready have in the house or you may add one new one. You have no idea how much the little folks with children on a bead budget appreciate that. Thank you!
I just finished "Mildred's Cross" designed by Giana Zimmerman of Beading4perfectionists. She had mentioned in her video that the finished products was not very rigid and more fluid than I wanted it to be. So, I added some 21 gauge square wire into the 'elbows' of the arms using the center 15/0 beads in the crook of each arm to attach it. I made sure the wire did not extend too far out so it is hidden from view. I added a dab of E6000 on top of my thread passes to secure the wire into place. I used cream pearls and a 2mm firepolish bead for the embellishment. I also embellished both sides of the cross and that also gave it more rigidity. The pattern is amazing - one of the prettiest I have seen for a cross. It is almost 3-1/2 inches in length! I am beading a herringbone rope to complete the necklace. Thanks so much for the beautiful pattern!
So, I was looking for a cross pattern that was "special"... Looked thru a few that were just not what I was looking for. Light bulb went off in my head! Go check Gianna's feed! You never disappoint! Thank you for another lovely tutorial!
SO Happy to see you . I have watched you for months and love it all. Did not realize you have not been on for a few years but never the less so great to see you
This is absolutely stunning….but a little too advanced for a beginner like me…something to attempt when I have a bit more experience I think…thank you for sharing this…🥰🇦🇺
I have been looking for something just like this, but I'm going to make it for my nephew, so I think I'll use different colors. It is a very pretty design!
Groetjes BB.
Wow...your work is amazing. I'm a newbie...it was kinda hard to follow what you were doing..but i can play this a zillion times if i have to...hahaha...thanks for the lesson
Hi Giana good to see you back with such a beautiful item, sorry to hear there were issues over the other one. Hope all is going well for you otherwise and hope to see more tutorials soon. :D
This is so gorgeous. I love it. I'm just very sad that I not going to be able to make it.I just can follow. Maybe if you make another video and use other colors and go slower maybe I can make this majestic cross. Thank you for sharing.
It might be helpful for your followers to know that this stitch is called "herringbone." A tutorial on herringbone stitch with 8° beads might help. This is a beautiful piece. 🙂

What size are the two white beads that you picked up first? I may have missed this information, but I've rewound several times and sometimes the white beads look like the gold 15s and sometimes like the gold 11s. PLEASE HELP! I can't wait to get one of these beautiful crosses made. Thank you!
Omg... this is awesome nice... I do crosses my self... but this is amazing... it will take me moth to follow you.... smile, can I come and sit next to you... and you show me? smile... thx 4 sharing this awesome work... regards f. Germany (*_*)
Hi. I love your work! Just a question on the Miyuki antique Ceylon beige. If I look up number 0593 I get Ceylon light Caramel or light beige lustre. If I search antique Ceylon beige I get number 204. Should I just stick with number 593 or order by name which is 204? I'm so confused. Thank you in advance for your advice!
Is there an addendum to this pattern? I seem to remember seeing it and would love to have it, since I’m finally getting to making this great cross. Thank you!
OK I am watching your video and right off the bat I have a couple of questions, #1 how the hell do you stop the thread snagging and tangling ?. #2 What kind of thread do you use ?. #3 would it be possible to use "Light Weight Fishing Line" (no heavier than 5lb.) instead,? to make the cross a bit tougher, so it is not quite so delicate, especially if it is going to be given to a rather energetic Priest. Also on a scale of 1 - 10 how difficult would this project be 1 being falling of a log easy, and 10 being climbing mt Everest difficult.
This is beautiful! Why do you call it the "Mildred Cross"? also, what kind of wax are you using and where did you purchase it from? I love your work, glad you decided to stay with youtube:)
it would have been nice if you could have let us know exactly what size or ki d of beads you were using, us beginners don't know all of that just by looking at it, the design was nice if only I knew what we were supposed to use bead wise
i don't know, but i can't even get past the first three rows, nothing is making sense to me. Part of it is the glare of the gold beads, but it just don't get it. HELP
Debe decir los materiales que se van a usar al inicio osea mostrarlo para los que no sabemos inglés . Nosotros podemos seguir el tutorial en inglés solo viendo , pero es bueno que diga cuáles son los materiales s
Love this cross but it is hard to see what you're doing with the colors that you chose wish you could have used either something dark under your hand or some beads that can be seen better but this is a beautiful
i use my photo camera Padma. I just hit the record button to make the video :-) It's on a tripod above my hands. In the editing software I turn the camera view around.
HI .. I've really enjoyed watching your videos. QUESTION: Do you sell these crosses already made & if so, how much? IT's BEAUTIFUL!! Thx HAG8D & GOD BLESS
The camera is too close to your hands. I can't tell what you are doing. Also, you need to show what the beads look like after a few additions so people can compare what they have with what you have. I've followed many videos, this one is impossible to follow.
Hello! Very beautiful thing !! Much to ask: take off the master class is slower because it is difficult to follow the sequence of steps. Let it be a few vidio, but your subscribers will be more. Thank you!
This is a beautiful cross but very hard to follow many diff 11/0 so when u say 11/0 I don’t know which one u mean lolol lovely work ty for sharing wish it was easier to follow .......love it

💖 Cool 👏

Duo you think it would be a little stiffer if the thread was doubled, or do you feel that there's no benefit having it stiffer?
Perfeito! Lindo demais!
i don't know, but i can't even get past the first three rows, nothing is making sense to me. Part of it is the glare of the gold beads, but it just don't get it. HELP
Hi Gianna, so beautiful like all your videos. I LOVE so much. Can you tell me if you used 15 or 11/0 cream beads at the beginning of herrringbone?

Go for what you find under Antique ceylon beige, sometimes the numbers get screwed up on the pack cause some companies use their own numbers
B4Pbakup thank you for taking the time to reply. Thank you for all you do. You are awesome!
