Their group is versatile. They do ballads, and other genres so well. They expressed in an interview that their main goal as a group is to use their platform to bring OPM to the world stage and hopefully be a gateway for others to explore other Filipino artists and in the end be a help to the industry and the Philippine economy just like K-pop was to Korea’s economy. That goal for me is worth supporting. :)

SB19 members were not fully immersed in kpop culture, like Pablo was heavily influenced by Gloc 9, Loonie, and NF, that's why his lyrics and rap flow is on another level. While Stell was into ballad types of music like Jed Madela and Morissette. And they said in the MYX interview, they grew up listening to OPM alternative rock bands like Kamikazee, Chicosci, Rivermaya, Spongecola etc.

I am excited to see your RV sa mga songs at perfs ng SB19. When I started listening to them way back 2020, minus the visuals (they are so gwapo 😍) and hype (nakakaloka ang fandom 🤣) - they are really talented. Individually, ganda ng texture ng voices but together - kakahimlay ang harmonization. And they sing, rap and dance too so ayon, nahook ako. Enjoy the journey.

As SB19 is considered a Pop band, there are some things they cannot do as a group. You are right, by coming out with their own solos, they can show their personalities. Pablo and Felip have their own personal preferences in music that might not suit the image of the group. Perfect example is Felip's first single 'Palayo'. If you check it out, you'll understand bakit para kay Felip lang yun and cannot be sang by the group. But I'm sure the other members are getting ready to showcase their individual talents. Let's watch out for that. 🙂

As a group magaling po sila, kahit mag solo po sila magaling din sila, wag nio po husgahan na kpop wannabe sila, talented po sila, pag ma research kayo sa kanila..
SB19 members were not fully immersed in kpop culture, like Pablo was heavily influenced by Gloc 9, Loonie, and NF, that's why his lyrics and rap flow is on another level.
While Stell was into ballad types of music like Jed Madela and Morissette.
And they said in the MYX interview, they grew up listening to OPM alternative rock bands like Kamikazee, Chicosci, Rivermaya, Spongecola etc.

I am excited to see your RV sa mga songs at perfs ng SB19. When I started listening to them way back 2020, minus the visuals (they are so gwapo 😍) and hype (nakakaloka ang fandom 🤣) - they are really talented. Individually, ganda ng texture ng voices but together - kakahimlay ang harmonization. And they sing, rap and dance too so ayon, nahook ako. Enjoy the journey.

As SB19 is considered a Pop band, there are some things they cannot do as a group. You are right, by coming out with their own solos, they can show their personalities. Pablo and Felip have their own personal preferences in music that might not suit the image of the group. Perfect example is Felip's first single 'Palayo'. If you check it out, you'll understand bakit para kay Felip lang yun and cannot be sang by the group.
But I'm sure the other members are getting ready to showcase their individual talents. Let's watch out for that. 🙂
