24:46 it’s really amazing to have an MD that knows how to explain what he wants. These are amazing musicians but that part really impressed me… it’s hard to call things like that on the spot for me but this has shown me you don’t have to be fancy in your approach just sing what’s in your head or show the gestures and they’ll get it!
LOL..... I grew up a musician where my father was pastor Pentecostal church). Later @ 23 years old I attended a very large Four Square Church for 10 years.. The MD never used mics to call out chords back then... We knew the music and changes. It's funny watching these young cats today.
@@4strings4mespontaneous changes with loose ends from some band members 😀. You probably didn't use IEMs then and your small setup probably allowed you to communicate with signs and shouting.
@@spiritphingaz_That is incorrect. We played on a large stage.. I prefer wedges to EMIs and I also understand the switch was made to control stage volume. Many churches today have pits.. Today's approach is merely a trend. More entertainment than anything else. Blessings
Going to random chords and not letting the rest of the band know and still sounding good does not sound right. I grew up Pentecostal too and still am. You have to communicate with these kind of moments.
To my non musicians...ANYTHING can go wrong, and that's why you have to know your role solid and be prepared to play in any situation where techincal mishaps can happen. And uh, mister MD on keys ewewwww lol. Good stuff yawl!!
THIS THE FIRST FOR ME.... AND 1ST TIME SEEING THE PAGE / CHANNEL OR POST.... KEYBOARDIST TEXTING BACK DURING PRAISE AND WORSHIP AND PLAYING.... WOW... sorry.. but that's a 1st for me too... not impressed... not at all.. not a single bit... so sorry.
In 2005 i would have never expected to ever get an inside view of the potter's house band when watching on tv with my mom.

Absolutely nothing wrong in calling chords it promotes better communication amongst instrumentalist .
The old faithful Motif Es8 never goes out of style 🔥🔥🔥
It’s definitely the standard bearer 💪🏾💪🏾
I knew I recognized that keyboard… trying to get one at my church badly 😭
I'm currently in 🇯🇲 and I can not get my S90ES serviced.
I would love the ES6 though
And it never will😂
Why was that the first thing that I looked at. Then I started to inspect if that is an Montage6 or Roland on the upper deck.
Man I am so proud of J.R.!!!!!!! His drumming always inspires!!!
Please what's the name of the drummer? 🙏
MD knows what he wants and the band to follow through is a charm. I got hooked, watched full. great stuff.

Absolutely slammin! The musicianship, the anointing, the fun! Great job guys!
From Africa❤ Love that makossa groove from the drummer.
I'm so blown away by the worship leader's opening prayer! My my my! The Anointing in those words ain't no joke.
He was stalling until he could remember the words to their first song lol! jk
Really Levites dedicated to the ministry. Feeling the anointing all the way in South Africa
I hope you young musicians see the timelessness of the ES8 MOTIF. Will still take MOTIF over the new stuff I see out today.
I see you are here sir. Long time Mr Wole!
Never parting with mi good old faithful Motif es8
You guys are the best! Keep this going please 🙏🏽 🥁

5:22 I hear some awesome African sebene rythem from the drummer.

That singer for that first most definitely has to be from the Caribbean. Listening from Trinidad and Tobago loving the vybz especially that drummer

Lol these are spontaneous progressions that could change at any given time within the performance.
So there’s a need for communication……
@@kingwaves173 It's just music bro.. Nothing new. We had spontaneous changes also.

Beautiful music, beautiful drumming too but you really need the likes of me for unfiltered African Afro fills on the drums
Main key player🙌🙌🙌🙌

Orchestrated, synchronised, emotional manipulation. Nothing God honouring about this.
These guys aren’t here to worship but to show off. Sad. The drummer can’t even keep tempo.
Satan 😈🤘🏽
