  • This video on how to analyze art covers the basic skills and ways to look at artwork. These include principles from both visual and contextual art analysis. Throughout the video, you'll also see me apply these skills to artworks.
Applying what this video covers will reveal a whole new world for people new to these ideas of art analysis. Whether you want to be able to talk about art with others, get more out of visiting art museums, or find deeper meaning in art, these are the basics to start with.

I'll often take interest in a new topic and do a "deep dive" into various ventures and avenues for information... my recent interest in art has got me peeking around your neck of the woods. Humbly I thank you for being one of many guides along the way.

All the forms of arts, I would say watching/seeing painting is most difficult artistically compare to classical music or reading literatures. I could do the Getty Museuem in 5 minuates.
As none artist, I go to a front of painting, I am wondering how I am suppose to see this painting, not so much what vs. how to see it.
I have no idea where to begin. Your video gives me tools/ skills apply on almost all paintings.
I am going to write those things on my card & apply on front of paintings. Hopefully enough doing will imprint in my mine so I can do it w/o the card in future. I am searching for books alone this topic. This is long way of saying thank you for the video. If you have any book recommendations please let me know.

4:33 ooh interesting, they may be telling a sort of story? in south east asia, temples have stories like ramayana and mahabharata with endless chapters to reference from. sometimes from buddhist scriptures turn into reliefs like in Borobudur. some countries may refer to the same story but have different versions of what happened

Can you Help me or Give me Examples in Order for me to Follow it and do it in PowerPoint Slides.
Waiting Importantly to your Kind Help,
    Student Cuaca
