This is not an apples to apples comparison! The CRF450L from Honda would be best compared to the Suzuki. The CRF450L is far superior to the DR-Z 4S in every way.
Far superior in every way?! An interesting judgment considering no one has ridden the DRZ4S yet, but so sure of its capabilities based on its paper stats alone. I would argue that the CRF450L is superior in "some" ways, even though we only have the Suzuki's paper stats to go on. However, superior is subjective depending on the context. So, there is no "in every way."
Die Honda ist ein gutmütiger, zuverlässiger Begleiter. Die Suzi muss sich im Betrieb erst einmal beweisen. Ich wünsche Suzuki alles Gute. Papier ist geduldig, wer kauft was und wozu. Und der Preis?? Mit einem 6. Gang hätten sie einen wirklich großen Sprung gemacht. Ich blicke mit Zuversicht in die Zukunft, schade, das ich bereits in der kommenden Saison 67Jahre feier!
This new DRZ4S is not too much different from the outgoing DRZ400S. The engine and transmission are the same with some tuning done to the engine, even with a few ponies short. The most notable changes are the new KYB USD forks and of course the ride modes. Other than that, the bike is not a completely new bike with zero pedigree. On the contrary, I don't think the bike has as much to prove as you may have suggested. The old bike was already good, now it has been made even better, albeit without a 6-speed gear box.
