The reality of living in a TINY HOME on wheels

In our last video, we were in Banff with a foot of snow forecasted, dealing with the broken RV and needing to get on the road as soon as possible...today, we’re picking things up where we left off but as Murphy’s law would have it, more hiccups are in store!
The reality of van life is all about your mind set and attitude. What you see on social media can co-exist with the setbacks you see in this video...not everyday is easy (by any stretch of the imagination) but getting to wake up in some of the most beautiful places in the world and experiencing them together makes it all worth it.

How did we get here?
After a year of full time travel living the van life, we had to adapt when the world changed. To keep busy we’ve converted our tiny house on wheels into a fully functioning off grid tiny house that has everything we need. Realizing that none of us know how long this new normal will stick around, we made the decision that building a home here was the best decision we could make. We've spent the last year doing EVERYTHING involved with coordinating and planning the build ourselves as well as setting up this off grid property to be able to provide us with the the food we'll need in the future.
