Thanks a lot for this suggestion, this is literally next to Mall and within my budget. We have come back from there recently. So few points to note for other travellers:
1. We are so moved by the sincerity and polite behaviour of manager.
2. Rooms are huge for two adults, clean bathroom with geyser and big verandah.
3. Car stop is quite far away from the hotel. You have to walk and engage someone to carry your luggage. It could be a bigger problem during rain.
4. There is no room service. So you won't get morning tea to enjoy sitting in verandah. Cannot expect all these at this price.
Best part is: put on clothes, few steps and you are in Mall.

অফ-সিজনে প্রতি রাতে INR 3000-3500 tariff এরম কোন হোটেলর সন্ধান দিতে পারবেন যার balcony আছে এবং দুর্দান্ত view পাওয়া যাবে ? আমার mall road থাকার দরকার নেই, তবে আমি একটি বারান্দা আছে বা রুম থেকে ভালো view আছে সেরম হোটেল খুঁজছি যেখানে আমরা বসে কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা উপভোগ করতে পারি। আমি জুলাই মাসে 2023 দার্জিলিং যাওয়ার পরিকল্পনা করছি । যদি গাইড করতে পারেন কৃতজ্ঞ থাকবো |

The problem with this hotel is that most of us equate Darjeeling with Kanchenjunga. And this hotel doesn't have any Kanchenjunga view.

What about the Hotel Chalet at the right side of the Mall ??? (Just to mention here, in house restaurant is not at all a choice for me.)
