Big sad, i bought one and the mic portion does not work. Biggest waste of money on that portion. As far as the sound, I love it. Does the fan turn on every time you play the music?
Big design flaw with this line of LG party speakers where the DJ style controls are set up for you to be standing in front of the speakers and lights instead of behind them. Not sure why they did this, but it's a huge oversight in design.
@@NewStuffTV1 I bought the LG RK8 that you unboxed/reviewed a while back and they did flip the controls around to face the back on that unit. The RK8 is a cool little speaker system and Sam's Club has them for under $200.
You are living in US so you have 120V in outlet so current flowing trough this cable should be more than 15A and this is impossible with this thin wire (It should just burn with this current flow) True power of this thing in my opinion is something about 200W RMS

I have two bluetooth LG ok 99 speakers. i wireless pairing them[they have that function]and play them via bluetooth. But will they work together if one of them will be connected via aux connection to DJ controller? Or I need to connect via aux both?
Good video. I have a question. I bought one of these and managed to pair it with the bluetooth cell phone perfectly. But when trying to do it with a Panasonic TV, the connection is lost, will it be normal?
I'm thinking your Television has a weak Bluetooth signal. The speaker has a very strong signal.. the other day I accidentally walked through most of my house (on the 2nd floor) and it never cut out while the phone was in my pocket.
That's a hard decision to make. Honestly I think they really do have 2 different purposes. This one is a full blown party machine. I believe the 550w one is for more portability and simple music listening. The app for that one is just a bonus.
bet its peak or pmpo rating and not rms. this thing has a 12 inch sub. if its not a giant car sub theres no way this thing can handle 1800 watts rms. my 12 inch sub is rated for 280 watts rms. it sure is not the best but also not the worst.

Yes, you can use two of them at the same time. As far as EQ, I believe they are independent of each other.
