As chicken run is about chickens I feel the need to mention that we (human leftists) must include animal liberation in our own liberation from capitalism. No chicken (or cow or pig or any being) left behind. Veganism is a good step to atleast not directly give money to the industry. Lives should be more important than profits.
Imagine analyzing chicken run and not mentioning speciesism and nonhuman animal oppression. Leftists need to be vegan.
The problem is not consuming animal products but the treatment of the animals

I rewatched Chicken Run last week. It truly is the best piece of communist art, maybe the best movie of all time??? I lost it when they *literally* threw their bodies upon the gears... there's no misinterpreting that! So excited for Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget (!!!) Liberation for all chickens! :D

A lesser movie would have been about ginger continuously failing to escape the farm while facing prejudice from other chickens, only to be saved by a cool american cock and then being chased by mr tweedy and his dog while falling in love with rocky. The fact this movie was written the way it was with the budget it had and had such a wide release is close to a miracle.
Love how I can now finish the lines from the film when they come up. With enough rewatches I shall be able to do the same with the essay.

As a leftist, I really like this analysis. From my perspective as a vegan, I also find a more literal reading interesting. People will watch this movie and see the cruelty of the farm for exactly what it is, yet be perfectly fine eating chickens and eggs raised in even more horrific conditions with complete obliviousness to that inconsistency.
Chicken run 2 is going to have a tie in with the homophobic chicken place.

Can we get a follow up video on the sequel? It really reminded me of the palestine/other conflicts going on across the world and how just because we do not live in a physical warzone it doesnt mean we get to ignore others. The ending sequence with them going and destroying other chicken farms made me cry. Also loved the solarpunk aesthetic of the chicken town.

Do chicken run literally is just to be taken at face value of animals fleeing death and imprisonment if you want to relate it to anything it could be related towards many of the individuals that try to escape the Holocaust in World War II it has nothing to do with Communism and at the same time Communists through people in camps as well or do you just not want to acknowledge Siberia and what basically Stalin did

This is film about nonhuman animal oppression, which I'm guessing you as a nonvegan support. Nonhuman animals are treated solely as property, reduced to things without rights. A more fitting analogy is the slave trade :P
Chicken Run isn't a communist work of art, its literally just chicken great escape.
Critique of capitalism doesn't equate to communism, nor does selfless 0 commerce actions.
That all being said, your video was entertaining to watch.
