Afternoon Rod & Chris!! Really appreciate these detailed updates. Talking about the different areas & elevations is so important. Most don’t think to check what their elevation is. 🥶🥶🥶🥶
Mylar socks. I use a piece of an emergency blanket as an outer layer over my socks and slip into my boots. I need to keep my toes warm. Thanks for the updates!
Stay warm. Dont pay PGE though. Buy yourselves some solar panels, battery banks "lots", and get disconnected. The money and stress you'll save, is well worth thee independence. They say,,, "service" like so many others. But NO accountability when things go wrong from apathy and start the blame game. But,, they want paid😮
Exactly what I'm doing! House battery with solar backup! Giving estimates is not option but a necessity for folks - they need to know if they're prepping for a 4 hour outage or 6 days. PGE acted like it was impossible to do this and dodged the question - NOT ACCEPTABLE!
I’m near NE 167 & Glisan St and melting always takes long. Our parking lot and street access are always sketchy trying to move thru snow and especially ice. I really don’t want to lose power again. 🤞 good luck everyone! 🧊❄️🧊 💨
They should absolutely be able to give estimates - 3 hours or 6 days?!? People prep differently, do they need to find another place or can they hunker in place? PGE handled this EXTREMELY POORLY. Already looking at house batteries with solar charging backup as PGE can't be relied on or know how long it takes to do their job.

You guys have done a fantastic job of keeping us informed!
Yea, but is the information accurate?
You folks have a challenging location to be forecasting the weather!

Not yet, as of 12:20 here in Albany. In fact there are a few sun breaks.
I lost power the first day, I hope it doesn’t happen again.
This is the same video you posted an hour ago minus 3 seconds. What was edited out?
