What a great camping spot, for me the best part of a gnarly track is sitting around a campfire talking about how gnarly the gnarly track was haha. Looking forward to part 2
You're not wrong. I was pretty pleased with myself I managed not to drop the bike as I was a little apprehensive about the track having done it some years before by 4WD. Sitting by the campfire with a beer rounded the day off nicely 👍
The Scrambler is an awesome bike but I kept the DR for trips like these, I don't have the anxiety of dropping like I would the scrambler. Besides, the DR is perfect for these types of tracks, at least for my skill level 😜 ATB Jason 👍
It was, and to be honest I was pretty relieved to have made it without incident. It wasn't as long as I remember it though when I last did it in the Jeep. Either way, glad I had those beers lol 😜
I really like the camping videos ...with all the technology out there these days, it would be nice to have a camera that would show the true hills and how steep the ride.....looking forward to the ride out.
Yeah haha, the inclines never come out on video, just look like the road going off into the distance. Hopefully my grunting gave some indication 😜 ATB Jason 👍
Well Jason I don't need to go there now you have brought me along with you on this trip. Well done. Picked a warm time to be off roading though. Being the Old Fart that I am I'll wait for cooler temps before looking at overnighting. Thinking of checking out Kwiambal NP and camping on the Severn River later on in the year. Have any of your followers been there to give me some insight? Another great video mate throughly enjoyed it, cheers.
It was so warm, uncomfortably so. The ride back felt like a hair dryer blowing hot air at you. I've not been to Kwiambal National Park yet, must check it out sometime. Thanks for watching mate 👍
It's a simple lav mic inside my helmet connected to a GoPro 10 via the media mod casing. Mic is behind some foam to reduce wind noise. Works well, shame about the GoPro lol 👍
That would be the Quanshang UV-K6. It's a UHF VHF ham radio as I'm a licensed amateur radio operator. Just a bit of fun to see if I can make contacts out in the bush 👍
13;27 that another guy on a bike ,vlogger now thinks there a mount buggayaa in the flinders ranges ,he asked if anybody new what the mount was called so I said mount buggayaa for a joke but he took it seriously 😮😂🎉

As much as I love the scrambler, it’s good to see you back out on the DR. Great video mate 👍

Steep ride. Would you mind sharing your mic setup. It’s very clear.
