    Jim Jones is my favorite rap artist, not because of his bars, but he is the most talented and resilient man in hip hop. A Billion dollar mind.

    As a new parent I'd
    Of a 3yr old I go by the same godliness my parents used. You can't be a friend to your kid/s, your the parent. That's a big issue today with these parents, they trybeing cool and friendly and that's bad parenting. These kids curse, drink, do drugs with their kids. They allow kids to call them by their first names, aunts & , uncle ect..

      It's a balance. I agree you have to set boundaries and establish the parent/child relationship. However, you have to befriend them so they confide in you. They are more likely to involve you in their hardships if they see you as a safe ally as opposed to another authority figure.
