Great video. So glad to find someone who teaches us something. Flies. Indicators. Techniques. After a while im bored with video of one fish caugh after another. No instruction
Great video. I'm heading down your way from upstate New York in July of this year. I'm an avid midge fisherman, looks like a great river - once I figure out the water release schedule, LOL. Thanks for posting. Very informative
Thanks Brandon, my father-in-law does a great job at filming and editing! We are planning to do a more detailed video of techniques and casts, bug selection, etc. soon...see you on the river.
You ever need a fishing buddy I am down. I have a full kit waders boots rods some flies .. not a ton yet but working on building it up .. I also tie a little. I have fished Caney, below dale hollow and a few other places. I also enjoy fishing below the dam on the stairs with spinning gear in the spring.
Not many people know this, but baseball legend Ted Williams did some fly fishing on the Caney Fork. He could put his fly within an inch of where he wanted it over and over.

Awesome video Jonas! Very educational. There’s not a lot of well done videos like this for the Caney Fork. Would love to see more in the future!

Question. Why move up to the dam when the generators are on?
What waders are those?
Happy Hollow?
