Gurgaon is developing in a systematic way since last 15-20 yrs. In 2008 Delhi Gurgaon Expressway was completed and by that time lot of IT companies opened their branches in Gurgaon. Mean to say BJP has no role to play in the development of Gurgaon. BJP came to power in 2014. They just changed the name to Gurugram.

I have been living in Gurgaon for more than 2 decades. The city has grown exponentially. It's now called Gurugram. Gurgaon is the old name.
Chandigarh is like Islamabad.
India has so many such cities. Noida, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune even Calcutta (Kolkata) are having the same growth to name a few. Almost every state has one or two cities are having similar cities.
BTW India has almost 13 cities have metros and another 12 more to have in next few years including Srinagar 😀.
India have many other metro cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Surat & many more organized and developed

I live in Gurgaon, now renamed to Gurugram. It has its advantages and disadvantages. Cost of living and rents are very high when compared to Delhi, Noida, etc. Though the pace of infrastructuredevelopment is very rapid, the influx of huge number of people from other parts of India has resulted in overcrowding and air pollution. But thanks Sana for showcasing this city, it definitely is Indias most advanced city infrastructure wise!
Exactly. I live in dlf phase one. I pay 17000 just for rent. But yes in this amount they provide good facilities. But literally gudgoan is over expensive.
Three real negatives:
1. Gurgaon is in Haryana, so safety - especially women's safety.
2. Pollution
3. Now, 75% reservations for locals.

Actually Gurgaon has been developed after 2004 .. I have been there in 2011 for attending some interview then i was totally shocked when i see the development the infrastructure and way of living... one of best IT hub in India like any other European or American city.. ❤🇮🇳❤
