Adetutu OJ Alabi I didn’t base coat them with anything. I just went on top of the cleaned shell. For a brighter color, they could have a coat of gesso put on them first, it would also help the paint adhere even better. They could also be finished with a coat of clear polycrylic, varnish. No dear, your English is fine 😊. I completely forgot that I used a piece of felt too add some of the ink on. I had to rewatch the video. Here in the US, felt comes in a large rectangle, I just trimmed it down to make small squares to be able to apply the color more easily. 😊😊
