You know why this segment is so good? Its reminiscent of the first years of VS. The models here all have very good walks so it's a very good line-up and the most important part, there is no singer in the middle of the runway and very few cuts to the backstage. It's like each model had a walk of her life, every single one of them brought her best to the runway and they all synergize so well with each other, costumes were so arty, best models and very suitable music for the opening. It was like parade of the planets that happens once in zillion years and we witnessed it! We know them as Angels, but this time they were Goddesses! They will never beat it...
This era of VS was iconic! Firstly, because of the girls! Candice, Adriana, Doutzen, Erin, Karli, Alessandra, Miranda. And secondly, the music was actually in tune with the segments! The shows now are so boring, models and music.

how I see what the models represent, someone correct me if i'm wrong Ringmaster Water showgirl Dart board girl Poodle & hoolahoop Magician Clown Circus light sign ornament Snake whisperer Pantomime Equilibrist Tarot reader Tiger & the ring of fire anyways this was the best line up & still my fav segment of all time...i'm not bias because I am aware that these models have a reputable status in their field....but they are what industry insiders claim, top notch....each girl gave 110%, and everything incorporated to this segment was perfection..."Circus" is a predictable theme...but VS made sure to get it right and perfectly...the outfits, the props, performers, sets, music...for example in minute 1.57 when toni entered the stage as a clown, the remix of the song sounded clown-ish, in a literal way that was still suitable...and all of these endposes were great...my fav part/poses adriana's tiger claw gesture, backstage models taking note of doutzen working that hoop, miranda's side glance blessed with a blow of fresh air especially in that green outfit made it more refreshing, ale's blow kiss, joan whipping that tail....this is already majestic but a personal treat is that if Behati & Magdalena frakowiak would be part of this line up... behati gives great/playful personality and magdalena is underated but she gives great seductive grand endposes
For anyone who isn't a die-hard The Doors fan, the opening song is a rendition of their song "Break On Through (To the other side)" Also, this was my favourite ever segment in VSFS history. All of the opening angels, and the rest of them, were all so good!!! Adriana, Doutzen, and Candice are the baes 😍
Came back to this legendary segment here after knowing the 2019 VSFS was canceled. VSFS 2012 was literally their peak. All my favorites are in this show: Circus, Calendar Girls, PINK Toy Box and Angels in Bloom. And ugh I MISS ERIN SO MUCH
+Jose lira 2005 was great too, but 2012 was only missing rosie. other than that EVERY good model of that decade was there. and the makeup, the hair, the outfits, the segments were so good. in this segment, adriana opened the show with a BANG, outfits like candice's could be an fb, doutzen's outfit fit her so well, iza SLAYED IT WITH THAT OUTFIT, everything was 💗💦
to me 2005-2006 will always be the best. They actually focus on the girls not the performers. If i wanted to see Rihanna i would go to one of her concerts.
