I have the Logitech G502 and Logitech G613. Can I connect both through the Logitech G613's Unifying Receiver, or do they both need to have a Unifying Receiver? My mouse doesn't have a Unifying Receiver, but my keyboard does
In 0:33, I've shown a quick summary of all different types of receivers. Unifying & bolt receivers can both pair up to 6 devices. However, you can't mix the devices. In other words, you can't connect a bolt device to an unifying receiver & vice vera. Look at the symbols on your devices. However, some devices have both Bluetooth option & Unifying/bolt.
Can either the Bolt or Unifying receivers be used with their respective mice on a NVR (network video recorder) embedded with a Linux OS? I'm currently using multiple Tecknet 2.4GHz wireless mice but would like to use the multi-device features of the Logitech mice to operate both my Windows 10 PC and my NVR with the same mouse by using Bluetooth connection on the PC and either a bolt or unifying USB dongle on the NVR.
@@bhupindertube the Amazon descriptions says the Bolt receiver is compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS but that's likely refering to computer applications.. I'm not needing Options or any software features on the NVR, I'm just needing basic mouse functionality (left, right click and cursor). I went ahead and ordered the Bolt receiver and it's compatible Anywhere 3S mouse via Amazon yesterday. If it doesn't work, I'm only out $15 for the receiver... or I may test the performance difference between it and bluetooth on the PC.
@@naamangeist7843 Ok, I see. So, I suggest you to first link/pair your mouse with the receiver on Windows using the above method. Note: only bolt capable devices can connect with the bolt receiver. So, if your mouse is a unifying mouse, then you should buy a unifying receiver instead. Once paired, then you could try to connect it to NVR and see whether it'll work. If it didn't work, you could always return the receiver back to amazon. All the best!
Well, i got a good laugh at myself here. I went through the video over and over again where you describe how to get it to connect. No luck....so i gave up and had your video in the background playing still....and then at the end you mention not all Logi devices are compatible. 😂 I was like shit, I should have just watched the full video to begin with lol. Thank you anyway.

what's the diff between a Unifying/bolt Receiver?

As far as I know, Logi Options + is not available on Linux.

can i connect my keychron keyboard to this ??
I'm afraid not possible. However, if your Logitech device is Bluetooth capable & also keychron, then you could add both to the Bluetooth!
