1 Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee.
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessèd Trinity!
2 Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore thee,
casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee,
which wert and art, and evermore shalt be.
3 Holy, holy, holy! though the darkness hide thee,
though the eye made blind by sin thy glory may not see,
only thou art holy; there is none beside thee,
perfect in power, in love and purity.
4 Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
All thy works shall praise thy name, in earth, and sky, and sea;
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty!
God in three persons, blessèd Trinity!
Every Hymn in worship of Our Almighty God is glorious
Hymns are one of the tenets that built the Christian faith.
This reminds me of hot summer Sundays in Crow River Church in central Minnesota while growing up in the 60's.
Oh my gosh yes! I was soon going to find a trumpet version of this song to save into my Christmas folder! Yipee haha Thank You!!!! :D
*"But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive adoption of sons."* Galatians 4 verse 4-5
Timothy’s tone is brilliant. An inspiration
