I bought one of these about 6-8 weeks ago, put offroad tires on and rode 750 km already. It has been lifechanging! I feel so free and alive ripping around on it every day. Feels super stable at max speed too, great for drifting and sharp turns. I weigh around 200lbs. Only downside is that it takes a while to charge with only one charger
I love that removable battery. Awesome if you live in a cold climate where you might just want to take the battery in for the winter or if you don't have a garage and want to bring it in to charge.
I want one, but will keep my very reliable upgraded 10+ which now has 4,500km on the clock. You are right though, rider weight does make a difference to top end speed. But like road racing bicycles, aerodynamics plays a big part as well.
I love how each generation of scooters is getting better and better. Hopefully, one day they put a proper headlight on these things. I'm waiting on nanrobot to release their next generation scooter.
Define better do you really mean faster..I guess you haven’t grasp the thought on how dangerous these death traps are…this guy is risking his life over a stupid video. All he needs is to wipe this scooter out and he’s back living in his parents basement sucking soup through a straw…
I like it, to me, this sits in that sweet spot spec-wise in the market, Under 88lbs, so you can still pick it up and move it around a little, you don't want to be carrying it upstairs regularly, but you still could, light and small enough to toss it in the back of the car without wrecking your back, 40mph plus gives you some headroom for driving in city traffic even with the battery drops below 50%. The suspension did look a little soft for you, but as you stated that was at 230lbs, the rear was sagging a bit, it looks like the rear had a dampening adjustment knob(hydraulic?), were you running it as stiff as it would go? The problem this model has is its competition, similar specs and pricing to a Kaabo Mantis King GT and Nami Klima, up till now Vsett had positioned itself as not quite a top-tier brand, but value was reflected in the lower prices, which was a good selling point, they don't have that with this model. It is a little faster, I guess Speed does sell scooters though.
88 lbs, counting battery isn’t bad. I have the original DT STORM with removable battery and I carry it up 2 flight without the battery. About 80 lbs, and I’m 70. I bought an adjustable scooter carry-strap that helps a LOT. It goes over the shoulder. Probably couldn’t manage without it…
I love your channel! So glad you just passed by that amazing praying Mantis. They are considered good luck., and fierce little creatures. Amazing bonus in this review. That Mantis was huge and unique. I have a special relationship with them. Always around my house, or at work. . . The scooter is cool! The chrome looking side lights. Maybe the Mantis covered you on your ride 😉your co-pilot for this flight. ☺️✨✨✨✨Nice review. ✨🙏
You should have taken a closer look at the Mantis that mysteriously appeared on your handlebars, I think Kaabo might have sent in a covert drone to do a little espionage work there. 😄
NICE! The best part was your little friend. I haven't seen a Praying Mantis in years. I really like how compassionate you are when you find 'critters' in your reviews. I've never used a finger throttle 'only thumb' but that one looks well placed. I really like the suspension on this scooter. For reference I started with a Navee N65 in April. By the end of June I had the Kukirin G2 Master. Both decent scooters although I'm having some issues the the folding and stem on the Kukirin. I REALLY like the lights on the G2 Master. On this scooter the turning signals only show on the sides yet they have blue lights front and back. I really think scooter companies should make front/back turning signals and if they want to wrap it around the sides that doesn't hurt. Unfortunately while this looks like a good scooter I'm not quite sold for the price. I'd rather have well thought out features more than extra power. I'm still stuck on the Mukuta 9 Plus. It has a few shortcomings but is alsomst perfect IMO. Doesn't go quite as fast but makes up for it in usable additions. Can't justify one right now but that's where I would go next if I had the $$$. Removable battery, twisting or folding handlebars, and lighter weight along with good lights and turning signals are features that I'm looking for. I also would like adjustable suspension which this scooter and the Mukata seem to offer. Thanks for the fantastic review as always. 😎

Irony, he basically made himself a black silhouette. I love the smoked look, i think i would have worn two reflective vests crossed for more contrast... never underestimate someone's ability to NOT SEE you at speed.
I felt it was too aggressive at the start 😮. Can you make it smoother in the P settings? I think it might not be so good during winter when it could be more slippery.
I put my feet more toward the rear, stick my arse in the air, bend my arms and lean forward. With my full-face helmet just above the bar, on a road i know at 40+mph. More aerodynamic and less drain on the battery as well. Particularly if you're heading into a strong wind. Tighter fitting clothing or bits that don't flap around also reduce drag, increase comfort and depending on cross winds, give you more control because you aren't being blown around.
Hello, could you make a video where you present gadgets that allow us to locate our scooter in case of theft but also accessories and tips to avoid being stolen.
I like this scooter. I'm not a fan of the finger style throttle or the removable battery though. And.....I have struggled to understand why they don't mount brake calipers on the left side? Why? It is so hard to find aftermarket calipers for right side mounting applications. The worldwide standard is left side, so many great options. Why do they buck the system? I just don't understand.
Companies using this style frame really need to lengthen the deck. I’m only 6ft and can’t ride C style frames for too long or my legs start cramping up. The suspension on C style frames are great but I hate the short decks on them. I like my legs very wide apart & have never been able to feel comfortable on these
Once I saw the broken screw, the quality of the screw itself and the rest of the scooter, this thing looks very cheaply made. It has to be made it china.
This would be a great scooter. The deal breaker for me is the small battery, and the stupid design choice to angle down the two sides of the deck. It's makes the actual deck width that you can stand on way smaller. It's not 10 inches, it's more like 6.5
Looks like an $1800 scooter maybe i have a zondoo 6000w 38amp little heavy but you want wieght when your going 58mph keeps it safe on the road. Remember its other drivers that are not looking for you.
