Hey I just discovered your channel with the ranked video, this kind of content formula is enjoyable I gotta say, so good job, just make sure it doesn't get stale over time. By the way I only and exclusively play a few brawlers, which are my mains, and since from the release (around the time I actually started playing, with brawl being the only videogame I've had for a really long time) Mr P has been my first and true main, I never stopped in 5 years. I would say I have experience with him, more than any other character and obviously my technique evolved over time, you can understand me when I say this brawler has more to his gameplay than meets the eye; for a while I've seen practicing with a technique that tends to make him the most versatile as possible but it requires a lot of prediction of both teams movements, field control over time from just you, letting porters boost your damage in pushes, getting opponents used to consider you are able to hit hard a lot of times with the main attack, and let's say some luck (just to say that to win with any brawler and the way they are played always require that things get in your favor). I'm not lying, trust me, in most cases second gadget is the best, it adds a thick layer of depth to Mr P gameplay if you understand the real potential, along with the fact it's a specific case when it's required to place the super as soon as possible; to be more efficient you have to work with how opponents are moving and how you intend them to deal with your porters, there are these thing I call "create a formation" which is porter placement on the field and there are plenty of combination and uses, the most simple ones is the preventive use of gadget against aggros way in the back, you want to back up (not too much) and keep dps high, when they get close you make sure they don't kill the little porter and it will be a good source of extra damage (pet damage gear preferred in the build, you know it), and maybe move around it if you want it to tank some damage from a non-piercing attack brawler amd you are confident with the kill; another simple use is "the flow of porters", it consists in preventive use of gadget in one part of the field, far from you and your teammates, it will act as a distraction, a waste of their ammo but also as an opportunity to get their fire range divided from from the area your team you are advancing forward and, as the name suggest, you can get zone control where you used the gadget previously and then use your super in that spot to get another porter with more damage and hp going for them in the same direction, giving more pressure from one side over time, this gives possibilities for a good push from you; in rare of the flow formation you can even use the gadget a second time to create a line of three porters, but it has to be taken in consideration that if you have to this, the right side to use sightly moved since opponents did the same. I know I've written a lot but it was meant to give some advice, maybe in a future video you could try new techniques and experiment with the different play styles, I'll keep watching your videos, keep up like this and you are doing good, love for the penguin (PS I watched brawl talk amd when Darryl hyper is showed it might also reveal a hefty damage buff Mr P is getting, the porter damage is cut in half from 520 to 260, it means it's 50% damage shield, and Mr P still gets 1140, let's cross our fingers for a buff that is 25% shared between the base damage and a rework to his first sp to buff the first hit of the case even more)
Yeah there’s a ton of small things you can do as Mr. P that most people don’t know about. And you probably couldn’t teach someone all of it either, it just comes with experience. I just bought the second gadget and I might try it out later but I’m probably just gonna stick to the service bell one. And yea against assassins you wanna make it hard for them to get close to you at high hp. I hope Mr. P gets a buff as well, even a small one would help him out a ton. Can you make a video on how to one trick effectively? I hope that makes sense. I’m a returning player at 14k trophies and want to one trick Sam. It looks like you are a very successful one trick, so just wanted to see if you had any tips or things you wish you knew before deciding to play mainly one character
I would say, try to understand how your brawler works and all of it's mechanics really well, and then learn what maps it's good on. Also figure out how your brawler matches up and how you should play against every single brawler on every map so you're not caught off guard with a match you don't know how to play
I unfortunately went 5 wins 4 losses, I usually don’t like blaming it all on bad randoms but in this challenge it was actually crazy what they were doing 😢 it makes me sad because I love playing gus and he’s my 3rd highest brawler
My teammates were genuinely actively throwing every game. I could carry a few but I used some brawlers that couldn't and I failed. I wish the lives regenerated after a while. Even if it's the day the event ends. I got so close too
@@KeslerLee Honestly. I'll try to get a team setup but I only really have my cousin who's busy working so it just sucks when events have lives. Glad you got the skin tho!!
Yea it's like that sometimes, in that situation I just try my best to make it as hard for them to get to me as possible, and trying to chip them down before they can get close
That’s a really good question. There are a lot of ways they can buff Mr. P, but what I personally want is either faster reload speed, or let Mr. P have 4 max ammo instead of 3. Although Mr. P might become broken if they did this, so maybe just a small damage buff would be sufficient
The thing is when you play with randoms brawl stars removes the trophy remover so you can play with 4k players most of the time because most of the players are bad so i really recommend that you need to play with a team
