- Two-division ONE World Champion Aung La N Sang and Middleweight World Title challenger Ken Hasegawa took part in one of most exhilarating matches in ONE Championship history at ONE: SPIRIT OF A WARRIOR in Yangon. Both warriors left it all inside the cage over the course of their five-round battle, trading hard shots and engaging in thrilling exchanges that sent the crowd into a frenzy. “The Burmese Python” slowly took control on the feet as the bout wore on, but rather than rest his laurels on a decision victory, the Myanmar hero poured it on late in the fifth and finished his exhausted foe with a thunderous right uppercut.

the respect they give one another was remarkable, the Japanese challenger never quit and accompanied his competitor to the very end. This is far way better than any of the MMA matches I've seen so far.

Amazing fight. They gave it there all. Hasegawa lost alot of blood in this fight. A rib puncture his lung. The way he fell at the end was scary. His head bounce up and down like a basketball

Hasegawa was gased out by the 3rd round and just surviving on pure fighting instinct for the rest of the fight. If he had more endurance he may have been able to steal the win. Both guys are true warriors.

Sang lets himself get hit too much. He is more well rounded than this, but likes to brawl. Long term, it's a bit risky to lose a match and risky to head injuries. He took too many head shots and risks. I am saying it as a big fan.

Never seen nothing like this before and I don't think I ever will again truly amazing fight by to Total Warriors. If it would have gone to the scorecards I do believe that the Japanese fellow would have taken it
He wouldn't .. bro as ONE's scoring system is in favour of champs and mainly focuses on aggressiveness. Hasegawa was technically stronger in 1st 2 rounds . But he has lost his pace and aggressiveness since round 3. It is too obvious he was slowing down. Unlike UFC which judges round by round based on effecive striking and grappling, ONE scores over a fighter's activity throughout the fight. You become less active in later rounds , you are done.
Great fight but the last couple rounds was fought in slow motion. Good job on both of them for pressing on.
