It's a movie.. all the cast are actors from that time period. When the director says "cut" the black and white actors will interact and practice lines. You get my drift?
Now, in the 2024 we have more black millionaire than in the 70s, more education etc. etc.. sometimes I find myself liking 70s back movies, maybe it’s the language used, with all due respect.
You got to start somewhere and we’ve come a long way in quality and writing. I grew up in the 70’s and could go to the movies and see three of these type of movies, usually with a lot more action, in a row for a dollar. I really should have been at the library. RIP, Jim Brown and Jim Kelly.
I love black movies also, this movie has such a great premise but it went so many different ways that I didn't expect it to go! But I still respect the movie
If you think about it there was more community love and we all knew our neighbors ....today is a lot more distant with everyone trapped in cyberspace and most of us don't even know our neighbors...
I really enjoyed this film. With a very small budget, the Director did a good job. The racism illustrated in the film actually happened to a Doctor Ossian Sweet and his family in Detroit in 1925.
WOW this movie proves just how long Black Politicians have been so useless to the Black Community. We're still dealing with the same issues in the year 2024😮😢
@@MrJ-dc3yz Correction. Wakanda, and in general, Black Panther came out in 1966. This movie came out in 1977, 11 years after Black Panther number 1. So Wakanda did, in fact, come out before this movie.

We all have a choice, I made mine. No man and no riches will save you. But like I said, it's your choice.
Nothing has changed after 50 - 60 years even more. That poor Wade boy shooting by the Pasadena Police Dept 10 years ago is really sad and I cannot ever forget it. And I am not black. And the family was forced to settle for hundred thousand dollars for wrongful death. Really sad.
After the son was offed it would’ve been a big problem after that. And where’s the Black Panthers? Can’t lie….they need a remix for this movie tho. It’ll be wayyyyy better now. And it’s not Superman……more like Martian Manhunter lol The end was blah. We ain’t hugging and getting along either

Yeah. Nowadays, they're even calling the police on us for doing ordinary things. Or falsely accusing us of crimes.

Exactly what do you want to change
@@1990758 Exactly, new era victim culture who don't understand that in those times it was real racism, where as now most issues stem from culture.
And that's a fact !
When they first show Abar with those shades on he looks like Dave Chappelle
Agreed.
Looking like Dave and sounding like Eddie 😅
Or he also looks like Bokeem Woodbine .
He sure does lol 😅

Never heard about this movie. Good job TH-cam.
Great job in fact 🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🤧
Right on, right on, right on! Thanks for posting and Power to the people.
I love these types of black based movies more than the so called new aged black ghetto era, it's lots more class and style.

Dem boys fought in dress shoes. Now that's cold blooded.
😂😂
Baddass!🙂
Stacy Adams (biscuits) 🤣
Great movie! Arguably more relevant now than when it was made. Thank you for uploading this surprising and powerful film!
Dave Chappelle should have gotten at least an Oscar nod for his performance in this film..
😆 🤣
We learn something new every day ! Thanx !
Love this! A trip in time to 1970's! Peace

I need a modern remake for the things they couldnt do back then vs now
