How sad that their sexual preference should hold these incredible talents back. I've listened to their music and seen them live for twenty years and appreciate the experience for how amazing it has been. Their voices compliment one another and their lyrics are as equally beautiful.
agreed, I do not "like" artists musicians because they are gay, I like them for the tunes, how they play. I am "straight" but I don't even bring that up...God bless us all....ALL of us.

I remember hearing about them being lesbians and thinking "I don't care"! They can play great music, I love em.
Many, many people are still ignorant and their lifestyle choices are such an integrated part of who they are and their expression (music) that it is an important question. The question allowed them to take the answer wherever they wanted.
I am straight and not completely comfortable with alternate lifestyles and the Indigo girls have absolutely had an impact on my attitudes. They are both beautiful souls that I believe have pushed tolerance and respect past a political issue to a human issue.

I saw them at the Greek Theater at Berkely in 1991. 4,000 people and Only 322 men. Lol.. I went to the mens bathroom and had to fight with 700 Lesbiens to get into the mens room?? LMFAO!! It was great!! they were great times.
