    Finally a channel for English speakers to understand our common interest better. Thank you Ajahn Spencer for making this happen.
    I've been having amulets and buchas all my life but I lost direction in worshipping them and have become a collector without any conviction. Really sad.

      Not sad. This is great!
      You have grown and transformed since then.
      Now you are into something else according to where you are at in your life and spiritual path.
      This is all from my perspective btw.

    I have a bottle of two different types of wood carvings of a boy and a girl soaked in oil. I don't know what Katha to use. Some people tell me its ruk yong but ruk yong are two boys whereas mine are one boy and girl. Confused.
    Anyways I hope to have the good karma of meeting you personally one day. I have brought a tiny amulet of fishing baskets by lp kean from you sometime back last year and its has been a great authentic specimen of lp Kean which is beside my bed on my Feng shui wealth corner. Thank you again Ajahn Spencer.

      I just do the ones i want to, but never when people want me to.. except for our customers.. Sometimes though i do feel like doing one that a person asks me for.. but only because and when i want to. Few people will be happy doing free requests for people. I just do it because it pleases me, but not because im a lackey who's here for free requests

      @@coldhart79 you can ask me in a comment and i do writ them down, but i make them when i want to, and publish them for everyone, as it is a waste to just disclose to one person. So i do take requests as inspiration for what to make next, but do not make to order

      depends on the person and the interaction between the devotee and KMT, also, some amulets work better with one person and less with another, and then another amulet might work best for the other person, and not the first. I find, despite it being a crass comparison, that finding the amulet that works well for your individual personality and karma, is like finding the right pair of shoes, or buying a new car, sometimes you have to test drive a few before you find the perfect fit. I know that sounds like an upsell, but it is true.

      Karen Imsodaly Can you show me the Thai text? - is probably ja Pa Ga Sa which is 4 elements called up for reanimation and also to manifest ones wished but the rest is unintelligible to me. If you can show me the Thai text i can make a pronunciation tutorial for you

      Thailand Amulets yes! that is it! My father taught me that when I was younger and before one of my meditation, he came to me. That popped up in my head. Can you please email me the correct format English version because my Thai is quite rusty. :) thank you!

    • @thailandamulets
      @thailandamulets 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Karen ImsodalyThere are thousands of Kata beginning with Ja Pa Ga Sa and Imasaming, but the rest i cannot even imagine what it is supposed to say. Gai yay ja i dont imagine what that would be.. one would need to hear the whole kata, can you record it on mp3 and send me to hear and i can then perhaps tell you. I need the full kata.. if not its like saying "whats the rest of this proverb my grandad taught me? it begins with "The"
      a sentence beginning with "The" could be anything, as could a Kata beginning with "Ja Pa Ga Sa"
      Its just too vague information

      Thailand Amulets Haha! i apologize... that was very ignorant of me. I'm the only one that i am aware of, living in America, that my father taught. How horrible is that, i do not remember it. A teaching that is thought only to be practiced by the male gender, yet was passed down to me. I do remember him explaining that one was to call upon the 4 elements for manifestation and the other was the same but in the form of sahneeh. I am not interested in the sahneeh one. If you can produce one for me that respects and is governed by the laws of nature.... i would really appreciate that.... with possibly a translation as to what "ja pa ga sa"..etc actually means. Thank you...

      @@Mzchinagurl916 I hope you know the word 'ignorant' does not mean obstinate or stupid, it means 'unaware of the information'. as in 'I am ignorant of the intricacies of Pali Kata composition' .. is a well phrased statement with good grammar, as are your words, which show you are not an 'ignorant' person, rather, just normal that you are 'ignorant of the facts' to do with composing Kata.. nothing strange about that, as to date, i find it hard even to find Thais who possess a compendium of Kata as i do, because not even local Thais know them. it is specific to monks, magicians and academics. Somme people get offended if called ignorant, but the meaning of the word has been changed over time as social evolution has evolved, whereas the word truly only means 'not aware of', and has nothing to do with how clever or stupid someone is

    Hi, does this kartha apply to all Kumanthong?

    • @thailandamulets
      @thailandamulets 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Yes
      It is a fallacy that each kmt from each master has a separate Kata..
      thats Human confused assumptions
      there are ancient Kata for KMT, and it applies to KMT all of them,
      Why do people always think 'hey whats the kata for the kmt maha sitti choke?'
      (give kata)
      "oh i see.. but mines a small version.. whats the Kata for the small vertsion?'
      (tell them 'same as the one for the big version')
      "Oh i see,,,, but mine is the blue trousers small version, not the red trousers one.. what are the sp[ecific different Kata for the Blue Trousers and the red trousers versions?"
      (tell them 'the same as the one i just told you"
      "Oh i see.. well what about the one made in copper, and the albaca versions?? what is the kata fort those versions
      Answer: (baseball bat in the face)
      LOL But seriously Dino, one should realise that a Kata is for a Wicha (in this case Kumarn Tong), and in 99% of cases, are usable for all amulets of the Wicha.
      Would you say a different lord's prayer for a spanish Jesus statue and a different one for a French jesus? No, you would use the Lord's prayer for all of them
