This is a video I edited of my favorite artist Johnny Gill. It's his video for the song Half Crazy which was released back in 1985 on his album titled Chemistry. Health Update:
On Thursday August 11th, I had surgery to give me the ability to breathe through my nose like everyone else. I was born primarily breathing out of my mouth. The surgery was successful, but because of it I can not move much. And will not be able to take care of my family for some months to come.
Fast forward to February 12th 2024. I was t-boned at an intersection by a truck that ran the red light. My suv was totalled and I am being told I have a TBI...Among other things like this ringing that won't go away. Whiplash, concussion, bluging discs, etc
If you find it in your heart to bless me and my family with anything at all. I would greatly appreciate it. If not, that's ok too

He was only 18 singing like a man who been around for a long time dealing with heartbreak. That's why Johnny Gill is one of my all time favorite singers.
It was also one of the reasons that Cotillion, the label he was signed to when he recorded this album didn't know how to market him. He had such a mature singing voice for one so young.

Not often mentioned but I consider him to be in the group of , Peabo,Jeffrey Osborne, Kieth Washington , Kashif George Benson and like wise. He very underrated singer that deserves more accolades. After new edition he has become more soulful. To me he posed the best vocal in the group and it proven by the songs made after the group parted.
This song has a different significance for me, my sister Patsy birthday was on March 5, 1985 my Senior year of high school, my sister and I both loved Jonny Gill and this song, she purchased for her birthday 🎂. My Mother Eva G. Johnson passed away the next day on May 6, 1985 . I love this song so much, but it definitely brings back sad memories also.
