I don't like the change that you have in your store.You have beautiful doll shop with antigues like The name in the store means what happen with your mother dream?
I understand that those who primarily focus on and love antique content may feel disappointed and left out. Unfortunately, the antique doll business was no longer sustainable for me as a business. I have a deep passion for antiques, and my shop reflects that spirit, however, the expenses of keeping and running my shop are monumental.
Making the changes to start a new path was incredibly hard. It took a tremendous amount of guts and determination. If I hadn’t made these changes, we wouldn’t have stayed past 2020.
I get comments like this a lot on TH-cam. And it’s important to remember that my mother’s dream was for me to live a happy life. That’s all anyone would want for their child. More than anything, she wanted me to be a mom and to live each day fulfilled and happy. I am now living my own dream, and I know she’s happy to see the ways her shop has survived and flourished over the past several years. I’m proud of where I am today.
If Holland Diane takes over one day and turns this shop into her dream, gosh, I couldn’t think of ANYTHING better.
To anyone considering starting fresh or making changes in their life or career, know that it’s never easy but always worth it. Embrace the journey, believe in your dreams, and trust that your determination will lead you to a brighter future.

@@susanmacdonald4288 Yes! The whole shop is antiques! We have one case for modern. The rest is a huge antique museum collection.

I do travel once each year to France to visit, my family, (mother is 94) as I travel low-cost, for 3 weeks I have only a carry on bag. I reduce my travel essential to the minimum. 2 pants, 4 t-shirt, one bathing suit (plain color that I am using as top) and each year I do choose only 2 main colors. Red/Blue, Turquoise/fuchsia, Kakhi/orange etc.. (I never wear skirt, and travel only wearing my jeans and jacket. I totally love all the possibilities with this fashion doll travel wardrobe.
I can only say positive things about the Turn of the Century. The old and new collectibles are so exciting. Everyday I get up first thing sit at my desk and look at the Virtual Doll Convention web site and most of the time I find a tib bit I like and buy it. But the calendar is always full of fun stuff and so much content to read over. I love the new summer line of travel outfits!

Hahaha😆 "PTSD" I was able to get that suitcase but I think we are all ok now. I got all the items I wanted from this sale and realized I have or will have all those items on that doll so will be copying that look when I get those shorts and top. This was awesome! Thanks guys!

in my 70' my total favorite would be definitely the khaki short/black top and the dark blue short /stripped white/blue top. I am curious about the painting on the wall? thank you both
I like this collection. I get this is a summer travel themed collection, but I really think it is missing a pair of pants. There are times, like on an airplain, in a museum, an evening in a restaurant, where you want a nicer pants (not jeans) to wear. I understand it would have thrown the price point, and there are pants in other outfits already available, but it seemed missing.
