Mexican peso up 18% in last 2 years against US dollar. You should check out Nicaragua…Leon…2nd largest city…not touristy and 30 minute bus ride to nice beaches on the Pacific ocean.
@@brucemunro7499 I’ve been to Leon, I liked it, and I went surfing at the beaches I think it was called Las Penitas, black sand beach it was awesome I caught my biggest wave ever there 😁
Those comparable prices were my observation when I spent several weeks exploring México during the Springtime. It gave ne pause about the possibility of moving
I was shocked, too! This isn’t typical of Mexico, though. Puerto Escondido is inflated in all its prices. It’s a touristy beach town. I’m in Mexico City now and things are half what you see here.
@@juliannaritson2574 they were pretty expensive, like $15 an hour for the cheapest I could find. Maybe $25 for the whole day. $50 for an hour lesson. Something in that range if I remember correctly 🙏 there are cheaper places to surf in Nicaragua and costa Rica for sure
@@NickDemski yea... really costa rica? Like where? Nicaragua doesn't supply the fastest internet that I need. I am thinking I could buy a board. maybe gonna have to walk through town with it haha.
Hola! I’m glad to see the follow up video on puerto ! How awesome! ❤ I’m glad you have discovered more and enjoying it !
Hola! Thanks for watching! It’s a great town, but a bit pricey for Mexico 😅 awesome beaches though

Damn Mexico food has gotten expensive. Almost as expensive as in the US with those prices and stronger pesos.

Óyelo. Que esta bien barato todo dice.. Nada me importa que suban los precios a la comida porque los paisanos madrugan y merecen vivir mejor.
