I have expired formula, and I got one of my dolls that came with an empty sealed bottle, and two sealed ones with fake formula and i have no idea what they used. But i personally use expired formula! I've also used powdered coffee creamer and water :)
I tried several of these recipes. But I have decided to just stuff my bottles with polyfil . It last forever, no mess, no fuss and looks fine in pictures.
Yesterday I came up with what I think is the best recipe and it's powder that you add to water for added realism and it looks and has the consistency of real baby formula. It does take a bit more work but I promise you it's worth it. You take some white or slightly brown clay as long as it drys to a white or of white and let the clay dry out completely. Then crush it up into a powder for every 1/2 teaspoon of clay powder there is add 1/8 teaspoon of cornstarch and then add that to water. The best part is you can make a lot of the clay/cornstarch mixture to have a bunch of baby formula and that way you can regularly make new bottles. This recipe just doesn't foam up when you shake it so if you want that to happen I would suggest adding a little bit of white hand soap or conditioner. If you want yours to be more yellow just add a little bit of food coloring but with the clay I used it already looks like formula! For an exact recipe for best results fill the bottle with 2 or 3 oz of water and then add 1/2 teaspoon of clay powder and 1/8 teaspoon cornstarch if you already mixed the clay and cornstarch powder together then just add 1/2 teaspoon of that mixture and shake😁👍
I use baby powder and if there is baby powder at the top I just add more water it last for months and i just pour it out if i want to wash a bottle for a day out or something I use it with her app too and I love it
I use white fabric softener water and a 1inch paper towel color the paper towel with a yellow Crayola washable maker. Mix the yellow 1inch square into the plain cold water. Add the 3oz. white fabric to your bottle and add some regular water and last add some of the yellow washable maker water after you have removed the paper towel square. Then add yellow water till desired color that looks like breast milk.. Swirl don't shake for fake breast milk. Hold up to sunny window to see color is tgat of dreast milk. Never shake just swirl this around in the bottle . Because real breast milk if shaken it will separate the nutrients in the breast milk....
You made my recipe a bit wrong use cold water first then the clothes conditioner then use bottle of yellow dye the same size as the vanilla and dip cotton bud into the bottle then dip cotton bud in baby bottle so that it looks like baby milk i made mine months ago and it doesn't go off i am a grandmother of four
It Was a little hard when I was only given ingredients, I kinda have to guess the amounts + what order/ hot / cold water etc, maybe I’ll do this recipe next time :)
There is a final results tab at the end for after 6 weeks. I haven’t really found enough new recipes for a second video, but I do have some. Also I have made some of these again and they aren’t being consistent, so in the future when I have some time I’ll get to a part 2.
Great, helpful video! I loved the experiments although I found the background music quite distracting at the beginningat the beginning when you were doing mixing the bottles (but that's just me!!) Xxx
I use glue, water and a bit of vanilla extract (adds color and smells great) it works perfectly! For those who need it here are the measurements for 5 oz ( 1/2 - 1 oz of school glue (depending on how thick you want it) 1/2 TBS of vanilla extract and the rest is hot (not boiling) water. Hope that helps!

24:36 Lol that looks like it could’ve been sourdough starter. All you had to do was feed it every three days and take some of the goop out. I MISS baking sourdough.
I agree in general with not wasting food. And 100% don't use formal as that can be is short sadly and is the only thing babys can drink other then brest milk. But alot of stuff went in to making all the stuff later and ingredients in closing foods like coconut. I like the Idea of not using things that people might NEED people don't need coffee cremer so your not taking from someone in need. Also things like sampo or condition can still be used :)
i now use a lot of white food coloring with a bit of copper in it to make it that brownie yellow color but the white food coloring needs to be gel food coloring
You want to use a wide mouth bottle to allow for space for your milk to flow into. Put some plastic wrap tightly over the mouth of the bottle (after you have added your milk), poke 6-8 small holes in the wrap with a toothpick, close your bottle and cut away the excess film. Now when you pump the nipple, the milk ‘disappears’ into the top of the bottle.
I have something for you to try for your toddlers. I took can sugar and almond flour and coconut flakes (note: I did pulse the coconut flakes in the coffee grinder 1st) I added 7 table spoons of each to a Mason Container .Then I added 2oz of water . To 8 scoops of this evenly mixed up mixture and I think it looks like fake baby cereal or cream of wheat. You could use it to roll play with your toddlers....

If you live in America coconut Shea butter is way easier to find, it is in asda , boots , Tesco , body care and wilko ( maybe a big lidle, Sainsbury's or Aldi

If you did a tiny bit of research you would find the free versions that I have made, but I wouldn’t Expect you to do any research as that would take up your precious time…

You use corn starch and use water and let the corn starch dry and then use a fork and scrape it then put it in the bottle and shake it

I tried glue water and apple cider vinegar for yellow coloring. It worked really well it wasn’t too yellow like the dye.
