Grand Combin 2023

Meitin Ridge. Beautiful weather, a bit windy and in the shade a nice cold. Down there, it's hot again, like in the Caribbean. Luxurious views south to Gran Paradiso, even to Barre des Écrins, the Mont Blanc massif, the whole of Wallis and all the way to the Bernese Alps. But the descent over 2500 m was not so luxurious :-)

Thanks for the video! In what month did you do It? And what temperatures did you get? (Min and max)

We went on 20.7. I don't know the exact temperature, but it was kind of standard, slightly minus in the morning, warm in the afternoon, except for Combin de Grafeneire. There was strong wind and very cold.

And another question, Wich way/face do you use for rappeling? The same as for going up (the ridge)? Or another else?

We went down the same way, There are plenty of rappelling spots.
