I’ve been to you today. Seems to be cutting well, feed due next week, when I hope ground temperatures get up a bit, waste of time if it’s still rainy and cold. Btw, this lawn in also in Pinner, grown from seed, the grass is very very hungry, 100% rye grass, wheee yours is a blend, both hard to keep optimum in such shocking conditions. 👋👋
Our winter weed grass is Poa annua also, but we get rat tail fescue or Vulpia as well. What does "setting #2" translate to in inches or millimeters..? Your drainage must be very good that you could get on the turf after it was flooded...!
Winter weed grass, it’s done so well this year. Big problem on finer lawns. Cut hieight is about 20mm ish, just under an inch. This is a lawn I grew from seed so soils are still quite free draining. 4 weeks this one should/ will be very tidy. Fingers crossed. 🤞
Thanks, this is really informative. I will make sure to keep watching!
Great stuff. It will get better! Make sure to subscribe- cheers
Really interesting, looking forward to see how the lawn changes over the weeks
