I worked at a seasonal beachside diner in my 20's where, after asking for multiple substitutions, and sending it back three times, the chef pulled the customer into the kitchen and had him make it himself. Then, charged him 17 bucks for the meal.
She has such a cool story. It was just her and her mom (not sure what happened to her dad) living in south Jersey and Micaela started to get really into musical theater. Her mom could see how talented she was and one day she was like, "Hey, wanna move to NYC and try to be an actress?" So they moved to the city and Micaela was accepted to the "Fame" school. She then was supposed to go to Carnegie Mellon, which has one of the best musical theater programs in the country, but she got a job starring on Broadway, so she had to skip college. Boo hoo. LOL Her first professional gig was as Sara Bareilles' understudy in "Jesus Christ Superstar" on national TV. I don't think she's ever failed at anything. (Granted, she didn't win the Tony, but she's so young. She'll win someday.)
This young woman has a tremendous amount of character in her face. She's extremely beautiful, but not in a "conventional" way. Incredible bone structure and I love her wavy hair. Most women with ears like her try to hide them. She pushed her hair behind her left ear and wore a very shiny dangly earring to show it off. Fantastic!! That dress doesn't look comfortable, though.
Micaela is absolutely charming and stunning, i haven't seen any of her plays , hopefully she does a movie or a series, whats her favorite food to cook , she has the passion, ill bet its delicious , new york
@JAMEIALANAY it looks like my type of show , I've seen the trailer, thanks for the heads up , bty if you like Sci fi fallout on prime puts other futuristic dystopian shows to shame, the last of us on max was also fantastic, ny
@@squee599 Same. I love her and I don't want to say anything bad about her; but if I were one of her girlfriends, I probably would have said, "Maybe not that one, sweetie. Try something else." Just some constructive criticism.
It’s almost like someone distilled the essence of that insufferable“entitled theater kid” energy and made it wait in line at the Met gala while humble bragging about a mid-production of “Our Town” I had one of these troglodytes yell at me for saying MacBeth backstage once so I switched her birth control with PEZ.
Seth is just the best. He puts guests at ease, and as a result, his audience too. It's so fun watching him, knowing that all will be well.
She was fantastic as the young Cher "Babe" in the Cher musical, really great in Here We Are, and enjoyed this interview seeing the real Micaela! 👏
Love that y’all have Broadway stars on too! Thank you
''Hair is everything!!" -Fleabag.🤣
She is adorable! ❤️
Super adorbs!

Great story!
Saw her in Parade and had no idea she was also in the Cher show. So happy I found her! ❤
The lighting cue she's describing that went wrong? I saw it when they did it right, and it's a stage picture that's burned into my memory.

She’s costarring alongside Niecy Nash in Ryan Murphy’s new show on FX. It’s called Grotesquerie.

@@phil4208 I came to say, too! Just watched the first few episodes. She plays a GENIUS character!!!!
sucha pleasure. cooking is like theatre. I like the comparison ...
She kind of looks like a young Joan Cusack
I didn’t catch that, but after reading your comment, I had another look-see and I concur.
She's very charming and so very New York.
that’s my cousin!!!
Look, it's the girl from the focus group in Tick Tick...Boom!
😆
What is that "top" all about??
"Do you have anything that'll flatten my breasts in the most unflattering possible way? Maybe right over the nipple line?"
And the straps to attach under the arms in the most uncomfortable way.
@@T_WC123 "I'm gonna be on Late Nite, so I need for it to look weird and uncomfortable."
Yeah I try not to critique the guests appearances but I am very confused by the top. It looks so uncomfortable!

how could any eye contact with Ms. Hathaway be umcomfie ?
Maybe she was overwhelmed by awe…
Way too big a focus on entertainment industry and Anna. That’s going to be different the next decade.
Ppl who want to control me being Anna and my voice into it. I have five degrees. I’m moving on,
