Ok, now I understand and can appreciate your honesty. what you have read, is a relationship that I went through up untill a month ago. Yes you were right, on all aspects of the situation, but you as a reader need to understand that ( and it's not just me) I speak for others that have gone through the same thing, that we have suffered severe narrsisist abuse. To be honest with you, we do not need to be told that it's one sided, that were not mentally and emotionally stable, we need to take accountability ECT ect. We have been through incomprehensible trauma, with an individual who is as you saw extremely manipulative, abusive and quite frankly effs your head up.. these ppl have no empathy and see you as an object, of which they also treat you like one.they have no ability to love, and only latch onto you to get their supply. Once they've sucked everything they can from you, once they've emotionally and psychologically destroyed you, they discard You like you never existed. You loose all of your identity, your self worth, and your very essence of who you are.., and the psychological damage is unfathomable. So untill you truely go through that yourself, ( god forbid) you have no idea of the impact your words can have on someone recovering from narcissistic abuse. This is not about taking accountability, and all the rest of it, it's about healing, and having compassion for victim's of narcissistic abuse. What you saw is exactly what these ppl do to their victims. It was done to me, and I have since closed the door and blocked the SOAB., and am healing and trying to get back some sense of sanity., with the help of a psychologist. I need to make you aware that a lot of ppl do cut their life contracts short , because these insidious creatures literally drive them to it. Jen, Having been through many episodes of narcissistic abuse in my lifetime, it bothers me that you would criticize this wonderful reader who is very blunt about her warnings. Needing others to validate your painful experience is the exact thing that opened you to narcissistic abuse in the first place. Only children NEED validation to form self esteem, by adulthood we should all be able to validate our own experiences, feelings and value without needing affirmation from anyone except God. You can never lose your self esteem, self worth etc. from outside yourself unless you give that thing more power than your self love. When you give yourself support and gentleness you won't require others to be anything other than their genuine selves.

Needing others to validate your painful experience is the exact thing that opened you to narcissistic abuse in the first place. Only children NEED validation to form self esteem, by adulthood we should all be able to validate our own experiences, feelings and value without needing affirmation from anyone except God. You can never lose your self esteem, self worth etc. from outside yourself unless you give that thing more power than your self love.
