    I just started playing the game and you have been the best teacher I’ve seen so far to explain the Tomes without sounding hypocritical

    Sleep of oblivion combos really well with raise zombie because the original unit never comes back if you do this. You can literally snipe tier 5 units turn 1 with this combo, it is crazy

    Important note with frostspire: visiting has a 3 turn cooldown. And only works on meele units. So best put all your meele fighter in one stack, visit the location and then split them into the different armies again :)

    Ritual of Somnia is a strategic spell cast on an enemy army. Only units in that army are affected.

      Thanks, I expected it, but the wording of the spell was so weird!

      @@bohdanhovorun3078 Yes, but a line further down it says "All Units" that's what actually got me confused. I assumed as much when I saw enemy army, I would have loved a "All Enemy Units" in the description just for clarifications sake.

      @@Ic0nGaming I suggest you actually use and play with these tomes in game before making a "guide". Else its honestly more of an "impressions" video

    • @Ic0nGaming
      @Ic0nGaming  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EurrikkeEdward Well if every content creator out there would live by your good suggestion there would be almost no content out there. I sit several hours a day at this game and it's a lot you ask for. Usually I do advanced guides with more detailed things after more experiences, but you can safely tune out of my "impressions" and watch other people's stuff. Easy peasy.
      I can only say that every one of my "impressions" videos is several of hours work each. So if it ain't good enough, I bet the upcoming videos are more your taste.

    Transformation is best one, and all earlier undead books basically are setup/enabler for this tier 3 book. Major transformation is powerfull, but you can't just cast it, it requires a lot of souls

    As far as i know, weakening aura works with vines from the book of roots. That´s a really good synergy

    When you do these moving forward can you say the name I’d what you’re talking about first? I listen to a ton of videos when I drive so I can’t really tell which one we are talking about if you don’t mention it first.
    Plus it makes it easier to remember

      Do you mean the specific spells and their names? I seem to miss a word in your sentence there.

    Reapers also buff all undeads with resistance and 10% dmg in the same army

    Why did it sound like becoming undead with wightborn was a bad thing to you? :O You can do so much more with your normal troops, they are immune to negative moral and the fire and spirit weakness really isnt that bad when you think about that you gain blight and frost resistance xd

    • @thevoxdeus
      @thevoxdeus ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There's a lot of fire damage in the game and certain armies like High culture have access to a lot of spirit damage. It shouldn't be underestimated how much more vulnerable you are to some armies.
      Add to this that there are other ways to gain lifesteal without this drawback. Wightborn is very strong but not without costs.
      Fetid Legion on the other hand is all bonus.

    • @dorianodet8064

      Wightborn you should ONLY pick up if you go necromancy heavy and you want your army to synerize with the rest of your support spell. At first glance it indeed seem nice, life steal and all, but you have to account for multiple thing : It require a lot of souls to cast, 200 if I'm not wrong, if you haven't picked necromancy books earlier you'll start gathering soul only at this point, and 200 is a LOT. Lifesteal is also nice ... when you get it early through mana addict. At this point of the game it still does something, but genuinely not that much since it's a fixed heal. Even buffed up tiers 1 unit can deal 40 damage a turn easy at this point.
      Then you have the moral thingy : You're immune to ALL morale change, positif or negative. You have to account that buffing your own troop moral is way more common than enemy debuffing it. There are tones of way to get moral and barely 2 tome in the game that leverage ability to lower the enemies, meaning you loose out a lot more than you win with this trade of.
      Then there is the resistance vs weakness debate : Frost damage are relatively rare in the game cause most cryo unit are merely here to debuff you (freeze, moral debuff) and blight damage are also kind of low as a whole cause most unit int he game doing blight damage are support unit. Fire and order damage though ? Oh boy, especially order. Your undead army will be obliterated by order Zeal + condemn combos.
      Ultimately there is the hidden drawback of being locked out of other major race transformation. While the astral and materium one are objectively worst (don't remember if you can get gold touched through tome or only event), angel, demon or plant transformation bring a lot to the table.

    • @wrongix6544
      @wrongix6544 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dorianodet8064 Yes ofc im sorry obviously you need to go full necromancy for it to be good. Thats what i meant, but still i have played alot of builds and i feel like necromancy with wightborn is amazing compared to alot of others and yes i have felt that holy order counter dmg xd.
